Guidelines for Installing Interactive Whiteboard 600i system with K.O.H. Rail
Preparing for the installation
Locate a stud near the location where you plan to mount the projector, and
mark it.
Contrary to the regular 600i installation, you should install the SMART board on
the KOH rail system before you mount the projector. Because the distance between the top of the smart board (top of the frame) to the bottom o SMART’s “mounting plate” should be 3 ¼”
system
NOTE: To mount the Unifi projector safely on a framed wall, you should attach the KOH mounting block to a stud with the 2 holes in the center of the block, use toggle bolts for the other 2 predrilled holes on the side. If the wall doesn’t have a stud in a suitable location you can glue the Mounting block to the wall, and secure it by anchoring it to the wall through the 4 predrilled holes with appropriate anchors.
Proceed to Installation
You should install the Smart board on the KOH rail system before you install the KOH mounting block and projector.
1. Install KOH rail per instructions. (Above the whiteboard/blackboard if that is the application).
2. Attach brackets to SMART board, and hang it on the rail. NOTE: The KOH brackets allows for 8 different height settings of the SMART board. Keep in mind you need 3 ¼” from the top of the SMART board to the bottom of the projector mount.
