Quick Start Guide

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this manual thoroughly before use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions enclosed reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when adhered to.
Keep this manual in a safe location for future reference.
Before turning on, make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the power adaptor.
To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands, submerge it under water or spill liquids into the product. Do not use it in areas where it could get splashed with water (such as near a bathtub or kitchen sink).
Do not use this product with an extension cord or switched timer.
Do not kink or damage to power supply cord.
Do not insert any objects into the thermo massage seat.
Do not use the massage seat if it has been damaged or if it is not working
properly.
If the supply cord is damaged, do not use the massage seat. A damaged cord must be replaced by a Kogan technician in order to avoid a hazard.
In case of damage, contact the Kogan customer support team for information.
When the product is not in use, switch the machine off and unplug it.

Usage conditions and restrictions

The massage seat is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it for anything other than its intended purpose.
Do not use the massage seat when folded.
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
product.
Do not operate the massage seat outdoors or in an open-topped car.
Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
It is not recommended to run this product for more than 15 minutes at one
time.

Health concerns

If you have any concerns regarding your health, or suffer from an illness that may be of concern, consult your doctor before using this massager.
If you have a pacemaker, consult a doctor before use.
This product is a non-professional appliance designed to provide a
soothing massage. Do not use as a substitute for medical or remedial attention.
Never use this product on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
Never use this product if you suffer from any physical ailment that would
limit your capacity to operate the controls, or if you have any sensory deficiencies in the lower half of your body.
This product should not be used by a disabled person, infant or person who is sensitive to heat without medical consultation first.

Care and cleaning

Before cleaning, servicing, maintenance of moving the massager, make sure the unit is unplugged from any power supply.
Do not use chemicals, steel wool or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the massage seat.
This massager has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the massager at all.

GETTING STARTED

Before first use

Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure the massage seat is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach. Unwind the power cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not use the massager if the charger plug or any of the cables have been damaged or are not working properly. In case of damage, contact the Kogan customer support team for information on examination, repair or return of the damaged product. Read this manual fully to familiarise yourself with the product. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on the previous pages.

Setting up the massage seat

This massage seat has a unique strapping system which allows you to fasten it to most chairs or car seats. Set the cushion in your set and slip the elastic straps over the back of the chair so your massage seat will not move around.
When using the massage seat at home or in the office, plug the AC adaptor into a 240V AC outlet, then plug the receptacle end into the input jack, which is located about 40cm up the cord. Attach the massage cushion to any chair for a luxurious massage as you read, rest or work.
When using the massage seat in your car, plug the 12V auto adaptor into the lighter outlet, then plug the receptacle end into the input jack, which is located about 40cm up the cord. Slip the massage cushion straps over your seat to enjoy a relaxing massage in your car.
NOTE:
Do not set up or use the massage seat in a bathroom or similarly wet/damp area. Such an environment may reduce the lifespan of the massager mechanism.
Ensure the massager is not exposed to direct sunlight or placed near heaters or other heat sources.
Do not use the product on a wooden surface as the zipper may scratch the surface.

INSTRUCTIONS

Using the massage seat

Slip the massage seat over the back of an appropriate chair, as described earlier, connect it to a power source and then sit on the massage seat.
Press the HEAT button to add heat to the massage.
Press the POWER button to start the massage.
Press the MODE button to adjust the intensity of the massage (high ~ medium ~ low)
Press the UPPER, LOWER or SEAT buttons to isolate (start or stop) the massage action in a particular area of the massage seat. (Upper back, lower back or seat.)
The green flashing indicators on the controller indicate the areas of the massage action.
The massage will stop automatically after 15 minutes of continuous use.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the massage seat, make sure to unplug all power sources and portable music devices from the product. Always allow the seat to cool down before cleaning it. Use a small vacuum cleaner or duster with care to remove dust from the seat material. Remove stains with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow the unit to become wet. Do not immerse the massage seat in any liquids to clean. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals to clean the massage seat as these may damage the material.
