INSTALLATION
Open the package and move the icemaker to a well-ventilated grounded area. The icemaker has an operating temperature of between 10°C - 38°C, and operating humidity of ≤90%.
Keep the distance between the air vents of the machine and the wall to be at least 50cm.
Do not place the icemaker near any heat sources (for example, stoves, ovens, heaters).
Ensure the water temperature and pressure are appropriate. For best results, it is recommended the temperature of water from the inlet be 0.6°C - 32°C and the pressure be
0.138~0.552MPa.
Water should be drained using a sewer. Ensure the sewer that will be used is clean and unblocked.

Notes:
Notes:
1. Powering on
Switch on the power to the icemaker by pressing the power button on the display. Turn on the tap and water supply valve. Fill the icemaker sink with water.
2. Water pressure balancing
Upon first use, the icemaker will then automatically go through a process using the water supply, water pump and pre-installed drain valve to balance the water pressure in the machine. This process will take around 5 minutes. Usually, the machine is connected to the power source continually.
• If the main power switch is kept on the icemaker, this pressure balancing process will occur after every 30 icemaking cycles.
• If the main power switch is turned off, this pressure balancing process will begin every time the machine is first turned on and filled with water.
3. Icemaking
The water pump will start pumping water through the icemaker into the evaporator to form the mould of the ice cubes. The condenser will pump refrigerant to cool the water down to turn into ice. The sensor inside will detect when the water has frozen to ice, and regulate the thickness of the ice cubes.
• The icemaker will take a few minutes after turning on to start up and prepare for icemaking.
• For the fastest results, ensure the door is closed during the icemaking process.
• The fan will start and stop intermittently to regulate the condenser’s
temperature during the icemaking process.
• During first use, the icemaker may take longer to form ice cubes due to the higher temperature in the water inlet.
9
Page 10
4. Ice release
Note:
Once the ice cubes are ready, the water pump will stop. The water supply valve will open and any remaining water will go into the sink.
The condenser will then start a heating process to release the ice cubes from the mould. This process will take around 2 minutes, following which the ice cubes will drop into the cabinet.
The ice cubes will hit the sensor located the right side of the retaining board to signal for a new icemaking cycle to begin. Water will then start pumping back into the icemaker to make more ice.
After every four ice making cycles, ensure to drain the water out of the sink.
If the cabinet is full of ice cubes, ice cubes may become stuck between the retaining board and evaporator, causing the retaining board to move away from its original position and stop the machine from making ice.
Remove the stuck ice cubes to allow the retaining board to return to its original position. The machine should resume icemaking.
Ice can also be made using the manual operation mode button on the display. Refer to the “Display” section below for details.
