Microwave Use
1. Fill the water tray to fill line, leaving at least 400 ml water. Ensure it does not boil dry.
2. Place large steaming bowl onto water tray.
3. Fill large steaming bowl (ideal for vegetables) if it is being used. Fix lid onto large
steaming bowl if not using small steaming bowl.
4. If using small steaming bowl (ideal for meat and fish), fill and place on top of large
steaming bowl.
5. Once steaming bowls are stacked and lid is secure, begin cooking.
Stovetop Use
1. Select a saucepan large enough for steamer to fit comfortably onto rim; 18cm or 20cm is
ideal.
2. Add enough water to the saucepan, that it will not boil dry during cooking and that base
of large steaming bowl will not be in direct contact with water.
3. Fill the large steaming bowl (ideal for vegetables) if using. Fix lid onto large steaming
bowl if not using small steaming bowl.
4. If using small steaming bowl (ideal for meat and fish), fill and place on top of large
steaming bowl.
5. Once steaming bowls are stacked and lid is secure, place onto rim of saucepan and begin
cooking.
