SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions carefully before using this appliance.
WARNING:
• This device is designed only for blowing small dry items from the floor in residential
garages, sheds or other small areas around the home.
• Must not be used in areas where dust or particles are present that may pose a health risk to
your respiratory system.
• Do not allow children to play with this device.
• Do not use in the rain, as water may enter and damage the motor.
• Do not point the device at people or animals, or blow debris in their direction.
• Do not put any objects in the openings.
• Do not allow objects to enter or block the air intake, as they will reduce performance and
may be ejected from the nozzle at high speed.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all other parts of the body away from openings and
moving parts.
• Recharge only with the charger supplied. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Only use the garage blower with the specifically designated battery pack. Use of any other
battery pack may create a risk of injury or fire.
• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from metal objects like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause the battery to
overheat and fail.
• Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as it may explode. Check with the local council for
suitable battery disposal sites.
SAFE OPERATION PRACTICES FOR GARAGE BLOWERS
Training
• Read the instructions carefully. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls and proper use of
the equipment.
• Never allow children to operate the tool
• Keep the area of operation clear of all persons, particularly small children and pets.
• Do not use the tool for any job except that for which it is intended.
Preparation
• Thoroughly inspect the area where the blower is to be used and remove any larger pieces of
debris.
• Operate the tool on in daylight or in good artificial light.
• Ensure the work area is clear of people and animals that could be struck by flying debris.

Operation
• Keep body parts clear of rotating components.
• If the equipment should start to vibrate abnormally, turn off the blower and check for the
cause. Vibration is generally a sign that the impeller or fan is damaged. Do not reuse the
equipment until the cause of the vibration has been corrected.
• Turn the motor off whenever you leave the equipment.
• Remove or disconnect the battery before servicing, cleaning or removing material from the
blower.
• Avoid getting water in motor and electrical connections.
Maintenance
• Ensure all nuts, bolts and screws are tight and the equipment is in safe working condition
before each use.

ASSEMBLY
Assembling the blower tube (Fig 2 & Fig 3)
Before assembling the blower tubes (1), (2) be sure the Speed Control Switch (4) is in the “O” Off
position. Occasionally the extension tube will be stuck inside the blower tube. If this occurs, use a
bit of force to dislodge it, and the extension tube should then slide out.
Fit the Blower Tube to the motor housing as shown in Fig 2. Check the blower tube is firmly
secured.

BATTERY
The battery is protected from deep discharge via a protective circuit. When the battery voltage
drops below a certain level, the blower will automatically switch off; then the blower will not
operate until the battery has been recharged.
In a warm environment or after heavy use, the battery pack may become too hot to permit charging.
Allow time for the battery to cool down before recharging.
Never attempt to open or modify the battery for any reason. Released electrolyte is extremely
corrosive and may cause damage to eyes and skin. It is toxic if swallowed.
Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. When you notice liquid on the battery,
proceed as follows.
• Carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
• In case of skin or eye contract, follow the instructions below.
• The battery fluid, a 25-30% solution of potassium hydroxide, can be extremely harmful. In
case of skin contact, immediately rinse with water. Neutralize with a mild acid such as
lemon juice or vinegar. In case of eye contact, rinse abundantly with clean water for at least
10 minutes.
Do not expose the battery to water.
Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40C.
Charge at room temperature. 18C ~ 24C and never at ambient temperatures below 4C or above
40C.
Charge only using the charger provided.
Before charging, make sure that the battery is dry and clean.
Exercise care in handling and storing batteries in order to not short them with conductive materials
such as rings, keys, coins etc... There is a real risk of the battery or conductor overheating, causing
fire or burns.
Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as it may explode. Check with the local council for suitable
disposal sites.
CHARGER
Only use the charger supplied with the tool to charge the battery. Other chargers could damage the
battery and possibly cause it to overheat.
Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Do not expose the charger to water.
Do not open the charger.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Before attempting to recharge the battery pack, read the safety instructions fully.
The battery needs to be charged before first use, and whenever it fails to produce sufficient power to
do the job.
The battery may become warm while charging; this is normal and does not indicate a problem.
NOTE: After several charge and discharge cycles, the battery will attain full capacity.
1. Plug cord from charger into charger base. (IMPORTANT: Do
not use any other charger. Only use charger that came with
the product)
2. Plug the charger into the electrical outlet.
3. Turn on the power and the green LED will illuminate.
4. Slide the battery into the battery charger. The red LED will
illuminate, indicating that the battery is on charge.
5. When the red LED turns off and the green LED lights up, the battery is full charged.
6. Unplug the charger. Remove the battery from the battery charger.

IMPORTANT CHARGING NOTES
After normal usage, your battery pack should be fully charged after about 4 hours.
Allow the battery to cool down before charging. (NOTE: A very hot battery connected to the
charger will not charge.)
DO NOT charge the battery pack in a location with an air temperature below 4C or above 40C.
This is important and will prevent serious damage to the battery pack. Longest battery life and best
performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is
approximately 24C.
While charging, the charge may hum or become warm to the touch. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
If the battery pack does not charge properly:
• Check the main power supply by plugging in a lamp or another appliance into that power
point.
• Check the fuse on the main powerboard to ensure it has not blown.
• Move the charger and battery pack out of any sunlight to an area where the temperature is
below 40C.
• If the battery still does not charge, there may be an issue with the product and it should be
removed from service until it is corrected.
The battery pack needs to be charged before first use, and should be recharged whenever it fails to
product sufficient power to do the jobs that were easily done previously. DO NOT continue using
the product with the battery pack in a depleted condition.
To prolong battery life, avoid leaving the battery pack on the charger for extended periods of time
(over 30 days without use). Although overcharging is not a safety concern, it can significantly
reduce overall battery life.
The battery pack will reach optimum performance after being cycled 5 times during normal usage.
There is no need to run the batteries down completely before recharging. Normal usage is the best
method of discharging and recharging the batteries.
WARNING!
Before disassembling the blower tube, be sure that the speed control switch (4) is in
the “O” Off position. Press the Tube Release button (3) to take off the blower tube.
Do not try to separate the tubes by force or by using tools.
OPERATION
Before using your cordless blower
Charge the battery before use.
Check that the area is clear of bystanders and animals that may be struck by flying debris.
Starting/Stopping
Starting: Move speed control switch (4)
to the “1” or “2” position. (1 is low
speed, 2 is high speed).
Stopping: Move speed control switch
(4) to the “O” off position.

USING THE BLOWER
• The blower is intended for residential use only.
• Use the blower outdoors to move debris from hard surfaces. The blower is not designed to
clear leaves from large grassy areas, nor to remove wet, heavy debris.
USER TIPS
Hold the blow tube approximately 17cm above the ground when operating the tool. Use a
sweeping motion from side to side. Advance slowly, keeping the accumulated debris/leaves in front
of you.
CAUTION!
• Do not blow hard objects such as nails, rocks or bolts.
• Do not operate the blower near bystanders or pets.
• Use extra care when cleaning debris from stairs or other tight areas.
• Wear safety goggles or other suitable eye protection, long pants and shoes when using this
device.
STORAGE
Store the blower indoors, in a cool dry location, out of reach of children.
If storing the blower for more than 30 days, follow the steps below.
1. Remove battery from blower.
2. Charge battery completely.
3. When battery is completely charged, remove from charger and store with the blower.
IMPORTANT: To prolong battery life, avoid leaving battery on charger for extended periods of
time (over 30 days without use).
Storage of the blower and battery:
• in a high or locked location, out of reach of children.
• in a dry place.
• out of direct sunlight.
DISPOSAL
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way.
This device and the batteries should not be thrown into the household
garbage. Take the unit to a recycling center for used electrical and electronic
devices. Contact your local council for disposal details.
