GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the end user for future
reference and maintenance.
These should be used to aid installation of the following products:
UCLED4CW/UCLED4WW/UCLED7CW/UCLED7WW/UCLED9CW/UCLED9WW/UCLED13CW/
UCLED13WW/UCLED18CW/UCLED18WW/UCLED22CW/UCLED22WW
SAFETY
• Installation of this luminaire should only be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent
person to the current building and IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Before installation/maintenance, ensure that all mains supply to the luminaire is switched off and
the circuit fuses are removed or switched off
• Check the total load on the circuit (including when this luminaire is fitted) does not exceed the
rating of the circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker
• Please note the IP (Ingress of Protection) rating of this luminaire
when deciding the location for installation
• This product is class II double insulated
• Please recycle this unit
• This product is non-dimmable
• This product is IP20
INSTALLATION
Note - If this luminaire is being used in conjunction with external PIR or sensors, please confirm with
the manufacturer of the sensors that they are compatible with LED luminaires.
• Provide a suitable power supply to the required position of the luminaire, and then connect the
supplied mains cable with the ‘figure of 8’ connector
• Mark the location of the fixing holes for the mounting clips. The mounting clips should be spaced
so as to distribute the weight of the luminaire evenly. Drill the holes for the mounting clips (see fig
1) ensuring not to infringe with any joists, gas/water pipes or electrical cables that may be hidden
behind the surface
Note: The 4W, 7W and 9W units only require two mounting clips and the 13W, 18W and 22W versions
require three.

Important: Subject to the surface foundation material, ensure the correct fixings are used.
Push the luminaire to the mounting clips (see fig 2). Connect the ‘figure of 8’ power cord, switch on the
power supply and test for correct operation.

Link cables (available separately) can be used between multiple fittings up to a maximum of 12 fittings
(see fig 3). Additional accessories available.

GENERAL
The LED lamps fitted in this product are non-replaceable. The unit should be recycled in the correct
manner when it reaches the end of its life. Check local authorities for where facilities exist.
Clean with a soft dry cloth only, do not use aggressive cleaning products or solvents which may damage
the fitting.

• UCP200 ‘figure of 8’ power cable
• Ceiling mounting clips x2 with 4W, 7W and 9W versions
Ceiling mounting clips x3 with 13W, 18W and 22W versions
• Wall mounting clips x2 with 4W, 7W and 9W versions
Wall mounting clips x3 with the 13W, 18W and 22W versions
• UCCUP coupler
Additional Accessories available:
• Link cable 250mm (UC250)
• Link cable 500mm (UC500)
• Link cable 1000mm (UC1000)
WARRANTY
This product has a warranty of 3 years from date of purchase. Failure to install this product in
accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, improper use or removal of the
batch codes will invalidate the warranty. If this product should fail within its warranty period it should
be returned to the place of purchase for a free of charge replacement. ML Accessories does not accept
responsibility for any installation costs associated with the replacement product. Your statutory rights
are not affected. ML Accessories reserve the right to alter product specification without prior notice.
