FLS SERIES FLOODLIGHTS

These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the end user for future
reference and maintenance.

These instructions should be used to aid installation of the following products

FLS15BK / FLS15PBK / FLS30BK / FLS30PBK / FLS50BK / FLS50PBK / FLS70BK / FLS130BK

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY

INSTALLATION

• Installation of this luminaire should only be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent
person to the current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• Before installation/maintenance, ensure that the mains supply to the luminaire is switched off and
the circuit fuses are removed or switched off

• Check the total load on the circuit (including when this luminaire is fitted) does not exceed the
rating of the circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker

• Please note the IP (Ingress of Protection) rating of this luminaire when deciding the location for
installation

• This product is class I rated and must be earthed

• Please recycle this unit

• This product is non-dimmable

• Outdoor electrical installations should be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker such as a
residual current device (RCD), this will cut the power supply should it detect a leakage of current to
earth which is potentially dangerous

• Standard product is IP65, PIR version is IP44

Note - If this luminaire is being used in
conjunction with external PIR sensors,
please confirm with the manufacturer
of the sensors that they are compatible
with LED luminaires.

• Provide a suitable power supply to
the required position of the luminaire,
note the information in the PIR
section below

• Unfasten the bolts at the sides of the

mounting bracket and remove the
bracket from the fitting noting order of
washers and fasteners
