Welcome to use this stereo Bluetooth headset, BTH008. Please read this user manual carefully before use.
Brief introduction
1. Bluetooth wireless communication technology
Bluetooth is a standard of close range radio-communication technology that was drawn up by Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba. With Bluetooth technology, we can achieve the highest transmission rate among cell phones, computers, printers, PDAs and other devices. The max transmission range of class 2 is 10 meters while the max transmisson range of class 1 can reach up to 100 meters.
2. About BTH008
BTH008 is a stereo Bluetooth headset. It supports the following Bluetooth profiles: HSP —— Headset Profile HFP —— Hands-free Profile A2DP—— Advanced Audio Distribution Profile AVRCP——Audio/Video Remote Control Profile
You can enjoy music wirelessly using the BTH008. It has the following features:
1) Pairing with Bluetooth cell phones and PDAs which support HFP.

4) Every time BTH008 is turned on, it will connect to the last connected device
automatically.
Note: Even though the paired device and BTH008 support the same Bluetooth profiles, functions may vary due to specification differences of the paired devices.

2. Charging the battery of BTH008
First use—You must charge the battery of BTH008 fully before first use. Low power—When the red LED flashes and you hear 3 “Dong” tones every 20 seconds, the BTH008’s battery is low power and needs to be recharged.
The charging steps are as follows: Step1: Connect charger or charging cable to standard power outlet; Step2: Connect the end of charger or charging cable to charging port of BTH008; Step3: The red LED is on while charging. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery; Step4: When charging is completed, the red LED will switch off.
Remarks:
1) The battery will dry up if you don’t use BTH008 for a long time. If this happens you
have to charge the battery of BTH008 for about 30 minutes before the LED indicator will be on.
2) Please don’t attempt to take out the battery from BTH008, as this might damage it.
3) If charging via a USB port, this USB port is used only for charging purposes, no any data is transferred over the USB port.
Warning:
1) The battery is recycled.
2) Do not expose the battery to fire, as this may cause explosion.

Remark: In order to save power, BTH008 will switch off automatically if no devices can be connected after 5 minutes.
2. Pairing BTH008 with a Bluetooth cell phone
1) How to enter pairing mode

Remark: The pairing mode will last 2 minutes. BTH008 will switch to standby mode automatically if no devices can be connected after 2 minutes.
2) Pairing BTH008 with a Bluetooth cell phone
You have to pair BTH008 with a Bluetooth cell phone before first using it. Please
make sure your cell phone is Bluetooth-enabled and turn on Bluetooth. Specific pairing steps may vary with different cell phones. Please refer to your cell phone’s user manual for further information. The general pairing steps are as follows:
1) Keep BTH008 and Bluetooth cell phone within 1 meter when pairing;
2) Enter BTH008’s pairing mode (please refer to “How to enter pairing mode);
3) Switch on the cell phone’s Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth device. After
the search is completed, select “BTH008” from the Bluetooth device list;
4) According to the indication, enter password or PIN No:”0000”, and press ” Yes” or “confirm”.
5) After successful pairing, select “BTH008” from the Bluetooth device list and press “connect”.
6) After successful connecting, the blue LED of BTH008 will flash twice or three times every 5 seconds.
Remarks: If the pairing is not successful, please switch off BTH008 and try re-pairing according
to the steps 1-6 mentioned above.
After pairing is successful, BTH008 and the cell phone will remember each other,
BTH008 will not need to re-pair next time. BTH008 can remember 8 paired devices.
When the number of paired devices exceeds 8, the first one will be replaced.

Two short tones
Every time you switch on BTH008, it will connect to last connected devices
automatically. If you want to pair it with other devices, please switch off the Bluetooth
function of the current Bluetooth device first and then pair BTH008 with the new
device according to steps 16 mentioned above.
3. Re-connecting BTH008 with a Bluetooth device
1) Automatic connecting
Every time you turn on BTH008, it will connect to the last connected device
automatically.
2) Connecting manually
When BTH008 is in standby mode, press MFB button twice to connect BTH008 to the
last connected device.
Remarks:
BTH008 only tries to connect to the last connected device that supports HFP.
Before connecting to a Bluetooth device, please switch on the Bluetooth device’s
Bluetooth function.
On some Bluetooth devices, take some Nokia cell phones for example, you have to
allow automatic connecting in the cell phone’s settings. Please refer to the cell phone’s manual for further information.
4. Wearing BTH008
Both sides of the headset are labeled, either with the letter “L” for the left side or with the letter “R” for the right side. Make sure to wear BTH008 as intended. If you want to use the microphone, align it towards your mouth to get the best conversation quality.

Remarks:
Not all cell phones support all functions listed above. Please refer to your cell phone’s
user manual for further information.
Some functions and indication tones may vary with different cell phones. When the volume is adjusted to max or min, you will hear an indication tone. When pressing the answer button on some cell phones, the conversation will be sent
to the cell phone. You have to switch the call to BTH008 manually then. Please refer
to your cell phone’s user manual for further information.
6. Playing music
After connecting BTH008 to a Bluetooth cell phone or a Bluetooth transmitter which supports A2DP, you can enjoy music with BTH008 wirelessly and remotely.

Remarks:
When playing music on some cell phones, the music will be transmitted to the cell
phone’s speaker instead to the BTH008. You have to select to transmit the sound via Bluetooth in the settings menu then and choose “BTH008” as speaker device. The music will be transmitted to the BTH008 then. Please refer to the your cell phone’s user manual for further information.

To remotely control the last song/next song/pause/play function, your audio source

Care and maintenance
Read the following recommendations before using BTH008. Following these you will be able to enjoy our product for many years.
Keep it dry and don’t take it to damp places to avoid the product’s internal circuit
being affected.
Keep the product away from direct sunlight or hot places. High temperatures will
shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts.
Don’t expose the product to cold areas. It may damage the internal circuit board. Don’t try to disassemble the product as it may get damaged if you are not
professional.
Don’t let it fall down onto the floor or other hard surfaces. The internal circuit might
get damaged.
Don’t use intensive chemical products or detergent to clean the product.
Don’t scratch the surface with sharp things.
In case the product doesn’t function properly, send it to the store you bought it. The staff will help you to solve the problem.
FAQ
1 Why does the red LED flash twice every 20 seconds ?
Because the battery is low power, it needs to be recharged.
2 Why doesn’t the red LED light up while charging?
a) Please make sure the charging device is properly connected with BTH008; b) If you have not used BTH008 for a long time, the battery of BTH008 will dry
up. If this happens, you have to charge the battery of BTH008 for about 30 minutes before the red LED turns on.

3 How far is the effective range between BTH008 and a Bluetooth cell phone?
According to the Bluetooth standard, the max. controllable range of Class2 headsets is 10 meters. It varies under different environments.
4 Why can’t my cell phone find BTH008?
If BTH008 is not in pairing mode, the cell phone will not be able to find it. Make sure BTH008 is in pairing mode and in the effective working range.
5 Why is there no sound from BTH008?
a) Make sure BTH008 has been switched on; b) Make sure the volume is not too low or muted; c) Ensure BTH008 is properly connected to your cell phone; d) Make sure BTH008 is in the effective working range.
6 Why is the sound not clear in conversation?
a) Make sure your cell phone is in a strong signal area; b) Ensure BTH008 is in the function range of your Bluetooth device.
7 Why can’t I remotely control the pause, play, last song and next song
functions with BTH008 when playing music?
This function needs the Bluetooth device paired with BTH008 to support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile). Please make sure your device supports AVRCP.
8 Why can’t I switch on BTH008?
Please charge the battery of BTH008.
