3. Basic operation
3.1 Charging the case and earphones
Note:
• The case and earphones have internal, non-removable, rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to remove the battery as you may damage the device.
• Although the case and earphones can be charged at the same time, it is recommended to fully charge the case battery before charging the earphones for the first time.
1. To charge the case, plug the USB cable into a power source and the micro-USB in the case’s port. The case starts charging automatically.
2. Charging the case battery to its full capacity may take up to 3 hours.
3. When the battery is fully charged, LED indicator light will become solid green.
4. Proceed to unplug the case from the power source and place the earphones on the sockets of the charging case.
5. Turn on the switch of the case to start charging the built-in batteries of each earphone.
6. While the earphones are being charged, the red indicator on each side lights up. When
fully charged, the LED will change to solid blue. This process will normally take about an hour.
7. The fully charged buds have power for up to
3.5 hours of talking time or up to 80 hours of standby time. However, these times may vary depending on the mobile device used, on the usage profile, and on the calling/ listening habits of each individual user.
8. “Low battery, please charge” will be heard to let you know that their voltage is below the acceptable level to continue operating properly.
3.2 Turning your earphones on or o
1. To turn your earphones on, press and hold the Multifunction button on each one for about 4 seconds. The “Power on” prompt will be heard, making the LED glow red for one second.
2. As both earphones synchronize, the “Connected” prompt will be heard first, followed by “Pairing left channel and right channel” in order to initially identify each side. In this case, the LED indication in the right channel changes to blinking blue, while the left channel LED will blink alternatively blue and red to indicate that is ready to pair with mobile devices.
3. To turn the earphones off, press and hold the Multifunction button for about 3 seconds. The “Power off” voice prompt will be heard, making the red LED blink briefly on both sides upon shutting off.
3.3 Wearing your earphones
• The earphones are intended to fit comfortably in either ear for all day hands-free wearing. Its versatile design offers the option of being worn with or without the ear hook.
• Select the tip that best fits the size of your ear canal. Gently push the earphone into your ear. The earphone should rest securely and comfortably in your ear when properly inserted.
• If you choose to wear them with the hook, wrap each loop around the ear lobe and adjust them so as to create the best fit for you.
• Voice quality when speaking will be best when there are no obstacles between the mobile phone and earphones, including your body.
4. Advanced operation
4.1 Pairing your earphones with a mobile device
1. Turn both earphones on by pressing the Multifunction button for several seconds on both sides simultaneously.
2. Set your Bluetooth wireless earphone.
3. Place the phone and earphones within one meter of each other.
4. After both earphones synchronize with each other, the red and blue LEDs will start alternating quickly in the designated left (master) earphone to indicate that it has entered into the pairing mode.
5. Select the KHS-700 earphone from the list of newly discovered devices in your phone.
6. Accept by pressing Yes or OK on the device. If prompted, enter the passkey 0000 (4 zeros). Your device will confirm when pairing is complete.

8. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 as described above.
9. The headset will automatically go into standby mode after a short period of inactivity to save battery life.
10. You only need to pair the earphones with your phone once, as it will re-pair automatically.
11. The automatic re-pairing feature will allow the headset to be reconnected after being switched back on or when placed again within wireless range.
4.2. Call management using your wireless earphones
• When there is an incoming call, your phone will ring, the blue LED will blink once every 5 seconds, accompanied by the “Incoming call” prompt through the left earphone.
• Briefly press the Multifunction button on the left earphone to pick it up. You may also press the answer button on your cellular phone to receive the incoming communica­ tion in your headset. Note: Audio will only come out of the left
side bud.
• To end a call, simply press the Multifunction button on the left earphone once again. The “Call ended” voice prompt will let you know that the phone is hung up.
• To ignore an incoming communication and send the caller to voicemail, press and hold the Multifunction button on the left earphone for about one second. The “Call rejected” voice prompt will be heard to confirm your selection.
• “Redialing” will be heard when you press and hold the Multifunction button on the left earphone to dial the last number called.
4.3 Music playback and voice command using your wireless earphones
• Briefly press the Multifunction button on the left earphone to reproduce and stop audio playback.
• Briefly press the Multifunction button on the right earphone to play the next track you want to listen to.
• To enable voice command in supported devices, press and hold the Multifunction button on the left earphone for about one second.
5. Proper care
5.1 Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect the headset to your phone, do as follows:
• Ensure that the headset is charged, switched on, paired with and connected to your phone.
• Ensure that the Bluetooth ted on your phone.
• Check that the headset is within 30 feet of your phone and that there are no obstructions between the headset and the phone, such as walls or other electronic devices.

5.2 Precautions
• Your headset is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. Recharge your battery only with compatible chargers designated for this device.
• Unplug the USB charger from the source when not in use.
• Parts of the headset are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the headset. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic
storage media near the headset, because information stored on them may be erased.
• Do NOT drop, hit or shake the device.
• Do NOT disassemble, repair or modify the earphones yourself.
• Do NOT use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device.
• Do NOT expose headset to excessive heat or to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Do NOT store the device in a place with high humidity or dust.
