Versatile and easy to install, the RCR-3
delivers sound so good you won’t believe it’s
coming from a ceiling speaker. Sophisticated
design and exceptional performance make
these Reference Series models the logical
choice where quality is as important as
stealth. They work extremely well in highend distributed-music systems and as
surround speakers in home theater
setups — any application where you need
loudspeakers to be heard but not seen.
A 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ cone woofer with
a cast-polymer frame and a motor structure
far more robust than usual for such a
speaker give the RCR-3 a solid bass
foundation that defies its size. The coaxially
mounted titanium dome compression driver
tweeter is mated to a Klipsch Tractrix
that can be swiveled to focus the sound
where you need it, which is a great
advantage when the speaker must be
mounted in a less-than-ideal location. A
tweeter attenuation switch gives an added
measure of control in tailoring the speaker
output to the acoustics of its environment.
The RCR-3’s white frame and grille can be
painted to blend into the ceiling. Premium
components and superior construction
ensure long, trouble-free service.
