Klipsch Debuts Flagship Reference Premiere Speakers at CES 2015
INDIANAPOLIS, IN AND LAS VEGAS, NV – JANUARY 5, 2015 – LV CC, CENT RAL HALL,
BOOTH 10428 -
the debut of its Reference Premiere series at the 2015 International Consumer Electronic s Show
(CES). The 10 new passive loudspeakers serve as the Company’s flagship Reference speaker line
and bring the latest in advanced acoustic engineer ing and industrial design to t he le gendary
Reference name.
The Reference Premier e series consists of three floorstanding speakers (R P-280F, RP-260F and
RP-250F), two monitors (RP-160M and RP-150M), three center chann el sp eakers (RP-450C, RP440C and RP-250C), and two s urr ounds (RP-250S and RP-240S).
paired with Tractrix Horn-loaded LT S t w eet er s c ombines for speaker effi ci enc y that is highest in its
class. Unique materials have been applied in the ongoing p ur suit of ultra-low distortio n design. The
horn’s outer layer is silico n-based rubber, which eli m inates resonance of the horn housing,
improving detail and resolution.
Each model, with exceptio n of the sur r ounds, is available in ebony or cherry wood grain polym er
finish with a brushed black polymer veneered baffle and spu n copper woofers. The sur rounds are
available in the brushed bl ack polymer veneer finish only . Removable cloth-woven grilles attach
magnetically for an elegan t t r ansit ion from powerful showstopper t o discrete performance pie ce.
