GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARDS
These filters 60443 are designed to fit the Reusable Face Mask 60442 only, and only when the above
items are used together is the device usable for suitable applications.
APPLICATIONS
The Reusable Face Mask 60442 is for basic protection against household dust, such as pollen, dander,
non-toxic dust, and common airborne irritants.
WARNINGS

• ALWAYS conduct a mask inspection prior to each use to ensure mask is in proper, usable order.
• Not NIOSH-approved
• SILICA: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of silica.
• ASBESTOS: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of asbestos.
• MOLD: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of mold.
• NON-ORGANIC CHEMICALS: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of non-
organic chemicals.
• NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. DO NOT use this mask for protection against airborne pathogens
• WILL NOT prevent transmission of airborne pathogens.
• NOT FOR USE in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health. Use in a well-ventilated area
and not in a confined space.
• NEVER substitute, modify, add or omit parts. Use only exact replacement parts in the configuration
as specified in User Instructions
Leave the work area immediately if:
• Dizziness or distress is experienced
• Breathing becomes difficult
• A defect is discovered in the dust mask
FITTING (FIG. 1, 2, 3, 4)
STEP 1 (FIG. 1): Remove both the inside valve backings by twisting the inside of the valve
approximately one quarter of a turn counterclockwise.
STEP 2 (FIG. 2): Set the valve backings aside and remove the used filter from the mask and discard.
STEP 3 (FIG. 3): Place the new filter inside the mask, aligning the filter holes with the valves
STEP 4 (FIG.4): One at a time, align the valve backing with the groove in the valve cover, press in and
twist approximately one quarter of a turn clockwise until valve backing snaps in place.
FILTER INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT
Filters should be changed once a month or more frequently if you find a resistance to breathing.
A maintenance record should be kept of these filter changes.
Expiration Date: Filters must be discarded 5 years after manufacture date.

STORAGE
Spare filters should also be stored in a cool dry atmosphere at a temperature of between 14°F (-10°C)
and 104°F (40°C). Storage under conditions other than those specified may affect service life.
