GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARDS
The Replaceable Filter (60443) is part of the approved assembly.
APPLICATIONS
The Reusable Face Mask 60442 is for basic protection against household dust, such as pollen, dander,
non-toxic dust, and common airborne irritants.

• MOLD: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of mold.
• NON-ORGANIC CHEMICALS: DO NOT use this mask for protection against the inhalation of non-
organic chemicals.
• NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. DO NOT use this mask for protection against airborne pathogens.
• WILL NOT prevent transmission of airborne pathogens.
• NOT FOR USE in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health. Use in a well-ventilated area
and not in a confined space.
• NEVER substitute, modify, add or omit parts. Use only exact replacement parts in the configuration
as specified in User Instructions
Leave the work area immediately if:
• Dizziness or distress is experienced
• Breathing becomes difficult
• A defect is discovered in the dust mask
FITTING (FIG. 1, 2, 3, 4)
The mask must be inspected by the wearer before and after each use to ensure that it is in good
working condition and valves and filters are seated correctly. Remove eyewear (if worn). If facial hair
goes beyond the border of the mask an effective seal will not be achieved
STEP 1 (FIG. 1): Grasp the bottom mask straps with each hand and securely hook and loop them
together behind your neck.
STEP 2 (FIG. 2): Lift the upper headband over the crown of your head to support the mask.
STEP 3 (FIG. 3): Adjust neck hook and loop strap and headband sliding adjustment to provide a tight,
comfort fit to prevent air leakage between mask and face.
STEP 4 (FIG.4): Adjust the nose piece to the contours of your face/nose, to reduce air leakage between
mask and minimize glasses fogging.
CLEANING
DO NOT WASH FILTERS.
Remove the filter while cleaning.

Clean the mask shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water (no solvents).

FILTER INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT
Filters should be changed once a month or more frequently if you find a resistance to breathing.
A maintenance record should be kept of these filter changes.

STORAGE
The mask should be stored out of direct sunlight, away from sources of high temperature, and in
an uncontaminated environment. Spare filters should also be stored in a cool dry atmosphere at a
temperature of between 14°F (-10°C) and 104°F (40°C). Store in the bag provided when not in use.
Storage under conditions other than those specified may affect service life.
