1. Einleitung
Vor Inbetriebnahme Ihres Kabelschneidwerkzeuges lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig
durch.
Benutzen Sie dieses Werkzeug ausschließlich für den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch.
Das Trennen von Leitern/Kabeln mit Hilfe dieses Werkzeuges darf nur durch eine elektrotechnisch unterwiesene
Person erfolgen. Das Mindestalter beträgt 16 Jahre.
Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist während der gesamten Lebensdauer des Werkzeuges mitzuführen.
Der Betreiber muß
• dem Bediener die Betriebsanleitung zugänglich machen und
• sich vergewissern, daß der Bediener sie gelesen und verstanden hat.

2. Sachmängelhaftung
Die Sachmängelhaftung beträgt 1 Jahr ab Lieferdatum bei sachgemäßer Bedienung. Wir behalten uns ferner das
Recht vor, das Produkt nachzuarbeiten.
3. Beschreibung des hydraulischen Schneidwerkzeuges
Das hydraulische Schneidwerkzeug bestehen aus folgenden Komponenten:

4. Hinweise zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch
In Verbindung mit einem 2 m Hochdruckschlauch ist das Arbeiten im Kabelgraben nicht möglich. Für diese Anwendung wird mindestens ein 3 m Schlauch benötigt.
4.1. Bedienung des Schneidwerkzeugs
Achtung
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Hydraulikpumpen mit einem ausreichendem Ölvolumen.

1. Anschluß des Schneidkopfes (Bild 1.2) über die Schnellkupplung (Bild 1.4) an eine Fuß-/Elektropumpe und vollständiges Ausrollen des Hochdruckschlauches.
2. Ablauf siehe Bilder 11-14.
3. Positionieren Sie den Schneidkopf so, daß er im rechten Winkel zum zu trennenden Kabel liegt. Der Schneidkopf
muß so an das Kabel angelegt werden, daß sich seine Lage während der gesamten Schneiddauer nicht ändert.
4. Das auf dem Kolben sitzende bewegliche Schneidmesser fährt auf das Kabel zu. Der Schneidvorgang ist beendet,
wenn sich die beiden Schneidmesser (Bild 1.1) vollständig überdecken.
5. Nach vollständiger Trennung des Kabels wird der Rückstellhebel an der Fußpumpe betätigt und die Schneidmesser (Bild 1.1) werden in ihre Ausgangslage zurückgefahren.

Tragen Sie geeignete Kleidung. Tragen Sie kleine weite Kleidung oder Schmuck.

Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand und halten Sie jederzeit das Gleichgewicht.
Achtung
Tragen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstung und immer eine Schutzbrille.
4.2. Anwendungsbereich
armoured
Mit unserem hydraulischen Kabelschneider können alle bekannten nicht und leicht armierten Kabel bis zu
einem maximalen Außendurchmesser von 85 mm/ 105 mm geschnitten werden.
Achtung
Das Schneiden von Kabeln mit Stahlarmierung führt zu Beschädigungen der Schneidmesser.
Vor Arbeitsbeginn ist ein spannungsfreier Zustand des zu schneidenden Kabels sicherzustellen.
Achtung
Es dürfen keine unter Spannung stehenden Teile geschnitten werden.
Um den unterschiedlichen Einsatzbereichen des Schneidkopfes rechnung zu tragen, stehen unterschiedliche
Schlauchlängen von 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 und 10 m zur Verfügung.

4.3. Wartungshinweise
Das hydraulische Werkzeug ist nach jedem Gebrauch zu reinigen und ein trockener Zustand vor Einlagerung sicherzustellen.
Das Gerät ist nach Ablauf jeweils eines Jahres zur werksseitigen Wartung ins Werk einzuschicken. Bei Nichtbeachtung erlischt der Garantieanspruch. Wir weisen darauf hin, daß Schneidköpfe insbesondere bei konfektionsnahen
Anwendungen durch Materialermüdung reißen können. Wir empfehlen daher einen vorbeugenden Austausch bei
50.000 Schnitten.
Der Schneidkopf ist regelmäßig nach möglichen Beschädigungen zu untersuchen.
Der Hydraulikschlauch und die Armaturen müssen vor und nach der Anwendung auf Beschädigungen und Undich-
tigkeiten hin überprüft werden.
4.4. Hinweis welche (Ersatz-) Teile vom Kunden selber ausgetauscht werden dürfen.
Innerhalb des Gewährleistungszeitraums dürfen vom Kunden keine eigenen Reparaturen durchgeführt werden. Entfernen Sie keine Bauteile wie Bolzen oder andere Komponenten.
5. Verhalten bei Störungen
Tritt Hydrauliköl am Schneidkopf aus, muß das gesamte Werkzeug zur Reparatur ins Werk eingeschickt werden.

2. Warranty
If the tool is operated according to its intended use our warranty is 1 year from the time of delivery. We reserve the
right to rework the tool in case of a justifi ed warranty claim.
3. Description of the hydraulic cutting tool

4. Remarks in respect to the determined use
In combination with a 2 m high pressure hose it is not possible to work in a cable trench. For this application you need
at least a 3m pressure hose.
4.1. Operation of the unit
Attention
Use only hydraulic pump units with a high enough oil volume.
1. Connect the cutting head (pic. 1.2) to the high pressure hose of the pump and roll out the hose completely.
2. Cycle see pic. 11-14.
3. Bring the cutting head into a 90° cutting position towards the cable. The cutting head should not change its position
until the cut is completed.
4. After actuating the pump the moveable cutting blade (pic. 1.1) mounted on the piston approaches the cable. The
cutting cycles is terminated when the moveable and stationary blade overlap.
5. After having completed the cut the retraction lever of the foot pump must be actuated to return the blades (pic. 1.1)
into the starting position.
Attention
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from mo-
ving parts.

4.2. Explanation of the application range

The hydraulic cutting tool type is able to cut copper as well as aluminium cables and conductors even with a
mild led fortifi cation.
Attention
Do not cut cables or conductors with a steel reinforcement.
Before starting to cut please make sure that all parts involved in the cutting process are not connected to live circuits.
Attention
This tool is not insulated. Do not use on or near energised electrical lines.
In order to take into account the various applications of the cutting head Klauke provides hoses with the length of 3,
4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 m.
4.3. Service and maintenance instruction
The hydraulic tool must be cleaned and dried after each use.
The tool must be submitted for Service to one of our Authorized Service Centers (ASC) once each year. Failure to
observe this request results in loosing the Warranty. In particular in assembly like environments a cutting head can
break due to fatigue. Therefore we recommend a preventive replacement of the crimping head at 50,000 cuts.
The cutting head must be examined regularly in respect of possible damages.
The hydraulic hose and the armature must be checked for damage and leakage.
4.4 Reference as to which spare parts can be exchanged by the customers
During the warranty periot do not attempt to repair the tool yourself, and do not remove any parts such as screws
and other components.
5. Troubleshooting
The tool loses oil. Return the tool to the manufacturer. Do not open the tool.
