1. Introduction
Welco me!
Thank you fo r purchasing the CP8 000UL remote con trol panel
for the DM8 000 Digital Audio P rocessor. In conjunc tion with
DM8000, t he CP8000UL pane l provides easy con trol over
volume and so urce selection . All illuminated sof t-touch controls
are remote ly powered by DM8000 v ia CAT5/6 cabling, or any
5-condu ctor cable. The CP 8000UL will t in mo st standard- depth
install ation enclosures a nd will blend with any d écor.

1. AUXILIARY INPUT LABELING area p rovides space to not e
the name of th e assigned audio so urce. You may write
direc tly on the surfac e or apply stick y labels.
2. SOFT TOUCH BUT TONS can each be assig ned to a separate
audio inpu t. Press the but ton to activate the a udio input
assigned t o that button. Whe n a button is acti ve, the
embedde d LED lights up.
3. VOLUME KNOB c ontrols the output l evel. The volume
control c an be assigned to the a uxiliary inpu t section or
main input bus.

3. Assembly and Mounting
The CP800 0UL fastens into t he installation e nclosure with
two scr ews beneath the fr ont plate. Remove the fr ont panel,
and fast en the main unit into the e nclosure with th e provided
mounting s crews. When the un it is securely fa stened, replace
the front p anel.
