Instructions for use
Charging the battery
The Pocket Hive has a built-in recharg eable l ithium b atter y. Make sure th e
Pocket Hi ve is switc hed o. Conn ect one e nd of the mi cro USB charge cab le to
the micro USB charge por t (4) on the Pocket Hive and c onnect the other e nd to
your PC or U SB mains a daptor. The ba ttery will sta rt cha rging.

• When fully cha rged, the LED indicator (2) wil l turn o
Getting started
– To turn the Pocket Hive on, press and h old the MF B (1) for 3 second s. To turn
the Pocke t Hive o, pres s and hol d the MFB (1) for 3 sec onds wh ilst it is o n
– The Pocket Hive wil l automat icall y turn o if n ot used for 15 minutes in
Blueto oth mode
– The bas e on the Poc ket Hive is d esigned to create ex tra bas s by sendi ng
vibrat ions into t he surface it is p laced on. Naturally reso nant sur face s will
provid e the best e ect. If th e stick y mat on the b ottom loses its ‘sti ck’ simply
wipe wi th a damp cl oth to remove any resid ues

Pairing a Bluetooth device for the rst time
Pairing with NFC
If your de vice has NFC, you can s implify the pa iring process.
To pair to the Pocket Hive via NFC:
1. With the Pocket Hive turne d o, press and hol d the MFB (1) for 3 second s
2. Wait fo r 10 seconds an d the LED ind icator (2) wil l ash blu e quickl y
3. Activate the B luetooth a nd NFC fea tures on yo ur device
(check your device’s manu al if you’re unsure how to do thi s)
4. Pl ace your phone nex t to the NFC sy mbol (6) a nd a prompt s hould a ppear
saying ‘Pair with Bl uetooth de vice Poc ket Hive?’ (or sim ilar)
5. Pres s ‘Yes’ and your dev ice will then pair and conne ct to the Pocket Hive
Note: If your device h as NFC ena bled an d it is not pi cking u p the Pocket Hi ve,
try mov ing the device ar ound until the NFC is p icked up. I f using a ca se on your
devic e, this may obstruct the NFC fro m working.
