When using your convection countertop oven, basic safety precautions should be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using your convection countertop oven.
2. DO NOT use outdoors.
3. DO NOT touch hot surfaces; always use the door handle or knobs.
4. Close supervision is necessary when the convection countertop oven is used by or near
children or incapacitated persons.
5. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of
the unit in water or any other liquid.
6. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop, or touch hot
surfaces.
7. DO NOT operate the convection countertop oven if it has a damaged power cord or
plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if electrical
parts are exposed to water.
8. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
9. DO NOT place the convection countertop oven on or near a hot gas/electric burner, or
in a heated oven.
10. While in use, allow 6-8 inches of open space all around the exterior of the convection
countertop oven.
11. Unplug the convection countertop oven from the electrical outlet when not in use and
before cleaning the unit. Allow the convection countertop oven to cool before putting on
or taking off any parts, and before cleaning the unit.
12. To disconnect, turn the timer control knob to the OFF position, then unplug the power
cord from the electrical outlet.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving the bake tray containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
14. DO NOT cover any part of the convection countertop oven with metal foil. This may
cause the convection countertop oven to overheat.
15. Extreme caution must be used when removing the bake tray, wire rack, or disposing of
hot oil or other hot liquids.
16. DO NOT clean the convection countertop oven with metal scouring pads. Pieces can
break off the pad and touch electrical parts, resulting in a risk of electric shock.
