Assembly
Carefully unpack the electric knife and remove any packaging. Place the unit on a level, dry and heat resistant surface ready to use. Ensure to read all instructions carefully and keep them for future use.
1. Wipe all parts with a damp cloth, not wet, so they are clean and free of any manufacturing oils that may be left on the surface.
NOTE: Do not use any abrasive cleaners as these may scratch the motor housing (8) or
stainless steel blades (1).
2. To assemble the stainless steel blades (1) hold the blades by the plastic blade handles (2) and slide the rivet (12) on one blade, into the keyhole (11) on the other blade (Fig.1).
CAUTION: The stainless steel blades (1) are extremely sharp; always handle by the side opposite to the cutting edge or by the plastic blade handles (2).
3. Slide the assembled stainless steel blades (1) into the motor housing (8) until it clicks into place. (Fig.2)
NOTE: Ensure the plastic blade handles (2) line up before inserting. NOTE: Always use both stainless steel blades (1) when carving.
CAUTION: Always ensure that the stainless steel blades (1) are securely locked into place before operating.
4. The Electric Knife is now ready to use.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Read all instructions thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions mentioned in this manual reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock and injury when correctly followed. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and packaging. If applicable, pass these instructions onto the next owner of this appliance.
Always follow basic safety instructions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance, including the following:
Indoor domestic use only: This appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only. Do not use it outdoors, where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered. Intended purpose: Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended purpose, and only use it as described in this manual. Accessories: Do not use any accessories with this appliance that are not supplied or specifically recommended.
1. Never use any accessories or parts not included with the appliance.
2. Do not spray water directly on to equipment containing electrical components.
3. No naked flame sources, such as candles, should be placed near the product.
4. The voltage indicated on the rating plate must correspond to the supply voltage. CAUTION: Never use wet hands to operate the unit or touch the power cord.
WARNING: The cutting blades and carving fork are extremely sharp! Handle with extreme
care when using the appliance and when cleaning the blades.
5. Do not leave the knife unattended when it is ready to be operated.
6. Do not allow the cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.
7. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or bench top or touch any hot or sharp surfaces.
8. Do not immerse the motor in water.
9. Always remove the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
10. Do not cut bones with the stainless steel blades.
11. Do not attempt to slice any frozen food with the stainless steel blades.
12. Do not operate the knife for more than 3 minutes without a break.
13. Allow 3 minute periods between uses.
14. The appliance is designed for private use only, do not use for commercial purposes.
15. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never immerse it in any liquid) and sharp edges.
16. If the appliance is wet, unplug it immediately.
17. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.

18. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the appliance as this could cause it to fray and break.
19. Do not leave the appliance or case on hot surfaces, as this may cause damage.
20. Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off and unplug it from the power source.
21. Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord is damaged contact after sales support.
22. Some appliances are ‘sealed’ using tamperproof screws to avoid tampering/maintenance by unskilled or unqualified persons and also for safety reasons.
NOTE: This appliance is to be used by adults. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance CAUTION: The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
23. Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts which move in use. CAUTION: Modifications to the appliance by the end user/s may cause damaged to property or persons and will be deemed as not in accordance with the instruction manual and no liability for damage will be accepted by the manufacturer.
24. Always handle blades with hand away from cutting edge. Always store blades with cutting edge away from you.
25. An illustration(s) showing the recommended procedures for handling blades of an electric knife shall be included in the instruction manual. The illustration(s) should depict the placement of the fingers and hand during such removal or insertion of the blades - that is, the palm is on the dull side of the blade and the fingers are away from the sharp edge.
CAUTION:
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product, flexible cord, or
plug to rain, moisture or any liquid.
• Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water, or other liquids or
when standing in or on damp or wet surfaces.
• In the event where the appliance is dropped into water, turn off the power at the power outlet
and remove the plug immediately. DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT.
• It is important to note that the appliance will have to be inspected by a qualified technician
before using it again.

User Instructions
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet and turn on at the outlet. Ensure the cord is clear from the stainless steel blades (1).
2. Turn the appliance on by holding down the On/Off switch (4) and the dual safety switch (6). NOTE: The appliance will only turn on if both buttons are held down (Fig.3).
3. Always place food to be sliced on a wooden or plastic cutting board. Do not slice on fine china, metal or bench tops as scratches may occur. Move the appliance down through the food; do not use a back and forth sawing motion when cutting food.
NOTE: Do not use force when cutting.
4. For best results when carving meat or poultry, allow cooked meat to stand for 10 - 15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to set and makes carving easier and cleaner. The carving fork (9) is recommended for steadying the meat and assists in carving even slices.
NOTE: Always clean the stainless steel blades (1) between cutting different food products to avoid cross contamination.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to sharpen the stainless steel blades (1) at home.
5. To remove the stainless steel blades (1) for cleaning, hold down the blade release button (3) and grip the stainless steel blades (1) by the plastic blade handles (2) to pull out (Fig.4).
