3. Pairing you r device
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Bluetooth enabled smartphone
Once enab led, open the Veryt for he art rate app and scroll ac ross to
the ‘Add Device’ page an d the app should automatic ally search for your Mil estone Activity Tracker
In order for the app to nd th e device the dev ice needs to be on (p ress the Physic al Push Button (1) or
Touch Button (2) to wake device)
Once your devi ce is found (it is ca lled ID1070), select it and press o kay

Quick start guide
1. Download the Veryt for he art rat e app
Begin by down loading the Veryt for h eart rate ap p from the App store or
Google pla y store. If you exper ience problems downl oading or installing a pp please ensure your smartphone meets the minimum requirements as stated in the ‘Smartphone Requirements’ section.
To nd the app please scan Q R code using a QR rea der app, alterna tively
search for ‘ Veryt for he art rate’ in the App or Goog le play store.
2. Device charg ing and activation
The Mileston e Activity Tracker may re quire chargi ng before rst us e. If this is the
case conn ect the devic e to the chargin g cable and p lug into a power sou rce
(clip the chargi ng cable to the back of the display unit e nsuring both c ontacts meet up). The tracker s hould power on str aight away.

Normal Modes
These mon itor your daily activit y whilst at rest, general a ctivity, and energetic ac tivity; stor ing data that can be fur ther analysed by using the app.
Time Mode
The date and tim e automatically sync to the d ate and time of your paired sma rtphone.
Step Mode
This displ ays a counter for how many steps yo u have done for the d ay.
Distance Mode
This helps to trac k the distanc e covered for the day (ba sed on the number of steps). The unit of mea surement is de cided when you set up your pr ole, but this can b e changed by acc essing the ap p USER > SYSTEM SETTI NG > UNIT SET
Time Mode
4. User prole setup
Follow the steps on s creen to create your pr ole; providing i nformation ab out yourself such as gend er, age, height, weight, and yo ur persona l targets. Once these are c ompleted your device is no w setup and read y to use.
Note – If using ap p with an iPhone, the Apple h ealth app will ask if you wa nt your data to be shared with th e Veryt for h eart rate ap p, please sel ect what data, if any, you would like to sh are.
How to use your Milestone Activity Tracker
Once your devi ce is connected to your smart phone and you have fo llowed the steps in th e ‘Quick star t guide’ it will
automatica lly begin to track your movem ents and reco rd your sleeping patter ns. This data is then trans ferred to the app for you to loo k at in more detai l.
To wake your Activity Tracker, either pre ss the Physica l Push Button (1) or rotate your wrist h aving enabl ed Wrist Sense via the app DE VICE > WRIST SENSE.
To change the display to show d ierent mode s press eithe r the Physical Pu sh button (1) or Touch Button (2) to move through the fol lowing diere nt modes.

Calories Mode
This tells yo u how many calo ries you have bu rned based o n your activities for the d ay.
Alarm Mode
To set an alarm, you will nee d to enable this via th e app DEVICE > AL ARM ALERT. From here you can add multiple al arms,
disable al arms, and change the set tings by tapping on eac h alarm.
Find Phone Mode
To use this function, you mus t enable it via th e app DEVICE > FIN D PHONE. When you wal k within 5 metres of your p hone,
the Activit y Trac ker will vibrate.
You can also set an Anti-Lo st Alert, DE VICE > ANTI-LOST ALERT, which will cause you r Activity Tracker to vib rate when
you have moved mor e than 5 metres fr om your phone.

The followi ng are the Spor ts History Mod es. To acc ess, while in an y Normal Mode, ho ld down Physical Push Button (1) for 2 seconds.

– These mod es show the sports data of yo ur most recent activit y. You can m ove through these modes wi th a standard
press of eithe r the Physical Pus h Button (1) or the Touch Button (2). The displ ays show you the time dur ation of the last
activit y, as well as individ ual sports data for thi s time period.
– To get back to Normal Modes ho ld Physical Pus h Button (1) for 2 seconds.

Activity Tracking Mode
The following are the Activity Tracking Modes.

– To start recordi ng a new activity, enter Activi ty History Mode (see pa ge 9 for reference). Once in Acti vity History Mode,
double pres s Physical Pus h Button (1). This will begin the ti mer.
– From here, a single pre ss of either Physical Push But ton (1) or Touch Butto n (2) will switch betwe en the dierent
information screens for sport tracking.
– To nish your activit y hold Physical Pu sh Button (1) for 2 seconds. T his will stop the tim er and the activi ty will now be
visible in A ctivity Hi story Mode.
Additional app functions explained
Sleep Monitoring The devic e will automatically dete ct when you are asleep an d will continue to monitor yo ur sleepin g
pattern overnight.
Reminder A lerts When paire d with your smartpho ne your band ca n give you vibration aler ts for alarms, calls, S MS
and SNS mess ages, and sedentar y alerts.
Sedentary Alert This will a lert you when you have bee n inactive by vibrating. You can set th e time needed for the
Activity Tracker to re mind you to be active via the ap p; s et the length of time you are ina ctive before it sends an a lert, set the t ime period o f the alert, a nd the days you’d like to receive an aler t on.
Remote Photo You can use the Activ ity Tracker as a remote button for you r smartphone. Go into the a pp and select
DEVICE > TAKE PHOTO. This will ac cess your phone’s camera and photo lib rary (whi ch you will need to allow the app to do). Positio n your phone whe re you wish to capture an im age, and then press the Physical Pus h Button (1) to take a photo. To end Remote Photo mode, press ‘canc el’ on the app to
return to the DE VICE menu.

FAQ
Can’t nd the devic e when tryi ng to pair with smar tphone?
1. Please ensure you smartphone’s B luetooth is turned ON and that your smartphone operating system is Android 4.4 & above and iOS 7.1 & above.
2. Please ensure the d istance be tween the ba nd and your sma rtphone is no more than 0.5 m while try ing to pair.
3. Make sure the band d oes not have low battery. If the bat tery is low please fu lly charge before try ing to connec t.
Can’t connec t the band with the ap p?
Please tr y to restart you smartp hone if your phone will n ot connect to the b and.
Restore factory settings
To carry out a facto ry reset of the Activit y Tracke r, make s ure the device is conne cted to the app. Ope n the app and then
go to USER > SYSTEM SETT INGS > RESTART DEVICE
How to update the a pp
Make sure the devi ce is connec ted to the app. Open the app a nd then go to DEVIC E > DEVICE UPGR ADE. Please wait a few minutes for t he update to take place. You will need an i nternet connection fo r the app to download the update.
