Introduction

Welcome joins KingRex usership

After the first integrated amplifier T20 visit the Hi-Fi field globally, KingRex never stop designing

and creating “good” sounding products. Gladly, there are lots of audiophiles keep trying KingRex

products, sharing their feedbacks, and providing their opinions to help KingRex knowing the “good

products” are worth to be expected and it is able to survive in harsh tests.

KingRex is not very big company and it makes us have more elasticity to create more fitting

personal demand Hi-Fi gears as desktop integrated ampl-T20U or our upgrade product –

PRE-AMP (version3.0).

KingRex is getting more and more High-End for providing better and better product. During these

Thank you f or c hoose KINGREX PRE-AMP preamplifier. We sincerely h ope you could
keep the user manua l for whole PRE-AMP life, it provides you with better protection for
connected eq u ipme nt.

Please read this user manual very carefully. It provides safety, installation, and
operating instructions that will help you derive the overall performance and fully
extend the life that the PRE-AMP has to offer.

Please save this manual! It includes important instructions for the safely use PRE-AMP
and for obtaining factory s e rvice should the prop e r op e ra tion of the PRE-AMP come
into question.

Please save or recycle the packaging materials! The PRE-AMP’s shipping materials
were desi g ni n g with great care to provide protection from transp ort a tion related
damage. These materials are invaluable if you ever have to return the PRE-AMP for
service. Damage sustained during transit is not covered under the warranty.

B. Safety caution!

To reduce th e risk of electric sh oc k, disconnect th e PRE-AMP from the mains supply
before installing an amplifier. Reconnect the power cord only after si gnaling
interconnections have been made.

The following precaution should be observed w hen power on:

-Remove watches, rings or other metal objects.

-Use tools with insulated handles.

inside, Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

fuse.
!!! Warning: T o re duc e th e risk of fire or elect ri c sh oc k, install in temp e ra tu re a nd
humidit y controlled ind oor area of conducti ve contaminants.

-To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this ap pli a nce to rain or moist u re.

-Do not dispose of in fire to prevent in jury or b urns.

-Do not disas s e mble the machine wi t h power on. If you do, you ma y rec ei v e an
electric shock.

-Do not let children (or grownup s ) p u s h any thing into holes or slots in the case-this
could result in harmful electrical shock and could cause damage of the equipment.

-Obstruct the necessary all- aro und vent ilation: espec ially DO NO T place the se t close
to curtains or on soft furnishing such as carpets. Overheating can cause unnecessary
damage and shorten the lifespan of the equipment.

-No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified technician. Never
remove the cover unless qualified to do so. This unit contains dangerous voltage.

to use this equipment .

How to operate

1. TURN OFF POWER SWITCH AND ADJU ST VOLUME KNOB TO MIN VOL POSIT I ON

2. C ONNEC T WIT H SI G NAL SOU RCE(CD PLAYER,TUNER,PC,… … ) SOURC ING INPU T

TERMANAL (KINGREX PREAMP HAVE TWO SOURCE INPUT )

3. C ONNECT PR EAMP OUTPUT TO YOUR POWER AMP.

4. CONNECT AC POWE R CORD TO WALL AC SOCK E T

5. TURU ON PREAMP POWER SWITCH ,PREAMP WILL AUTO SELECT SOURCE INPUT

WHEN MUSIC START PLAY (THE OTHER INPUT MUST BE STOP PLAY OR MUTE)

6. ADJUST VOLUME KNOB TO YOUR FAVORITE LEVEL

7. FOR SAF ETY REASON DO NOT OPEN THE PREAMP CASE OR MODIFY ANY C IRCUIT.

8. IF ONE INPUT ONL Y, R ECOM MO N USE I N PUT 1, AN D S HORTE D INPUT2 BY SHORTED

RCA PLUG. AVOID NOISE TO INTERFRENCE AUTO SELECT CIRCUIT.

Burn in

All new electronic equipment must be burned in to achieve optimum performance.
Please allow the new pre-amplifier a nd reserved power supply unit to burn in by play ing
music with the loudspeakers connected for 200 hours before critical listening is
performed.

Maintenance

For cleaning the cabinet, use a dry cloth and wipe dust away. If needed, moisturize
the cloth with a small amount of window cleaning dissolvent. Do not use excessive
amounts of s o lvents, a nd do not let any of s olven t sp ill into amp lifier . Th e fro nt p ane l is
made of aluminum, it can be cleaned by using normal mild solvents and clean paper
tissue or cloth. Do not use any oth e r th e sc ratch the mirror display at the front .

Service

The simplicity of the KingRex PREference preamplifier and reserved PS U ar e very
few parts can be breaking down.
Shoul d you e v er require service, you can either cont a ct your dealer or n ati onal
distributor, who can solve any problems locally.
