READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

1. All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70-1999 and local electrical codes. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.

2. The outlet box and support structure must be securely mounted and capable of reliably supporting 35 lbs. (15.9 kg). Use only UL Listed outlet boxes marked “Acceptable for Fan Support of 35 lbs. (15.9 kg) or less.”

3. The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 7 ft (2 m) clearance from the trailing edge of the blades to the oor.

4. Do not operate the reversing switch while the fan blades are in motion. You must turn the fan off and stop the blades before you reverse the blade direction.

5. Do not place objects in the path of the blades.

6. Electrical diagrams are for reference only. Light kits that are

not packed with the fan must be UL-Listed and marked suitable for use with the model fan you are installing. Switches must be UL General Use Switches. Refer to the instructions packaged with the light kits and switches for proper assembly.

7. After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should be turned upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box. The wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box.

Warranty

The supplier warrants the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of shipment from the factory for a lifetime after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The supplier also warrants that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or acrylic blades, to be free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of two years after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. We agree to correct such defects without charge or at our option replace with a comparable or superior model if the product is returned. To obtain warranty service, you must present a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. All costs of removing and reinstalling the product are your responsibility. Damage to any part such as by accident or misuse or improper installation or by afxing any accessories, is not covered by this warranty. Because of varying climatic conditions this warranty does not cover any changes in brass nish, including rusting, pitting, corroding, tarnishing, or peeling. Brass nishes of this type give their longest useful life when protected from varying weather conditions. A certain amount of “wobble” is normal and should not be considered a defect. Servicing performed by unauthorized persons shall render the warranty invalid. There is no other express warranty. Installation

MOUNTING OPTIONS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or personal injury, mount to outlet box marked “acceptable for fan support of 35lbs. (15.9 Kg) or less” and use screws provided with the outlet box. An outlet box commonly used for the support of lighting xtures may not be acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician.

If your ceiling fan does not have an existing UL-listed mounting box, then install one using the following instructions:

 Disconnect the power by removing the fuses or turning off

the circuit breakers.

 Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure.

Use the appropriate fasteners and materials. The outlet box and its bracing must be able to fully support the weight of the moving fan (at least 35 lbs.). Do not use a plastic outlet box.

The illustrations below show three different ways to mount the outlet box.

NOTE: You may need a longer downrod to maintain

proper blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. The maximum angle allowable is 28° away from horizontal.

If the canopy (C) touches the ball/downrod assembly (B), then remove the decorative canopy bottom cover, and turn the canopy (C) 180° before attaching the canopy (C) to the mounting plate.

To hang your fan where there is an existing xture but no ceiling joist, you may need an installation hanger bar as shown above

(available at any Home Depot store).

Assembly - Standard Ceiling Mount

Preparing for mounting

Remove the canopy ring (O) from the canopy (C) by turning



the ring to the right until it unlocks. Remove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by



loosening the two screws (HH) located in the “L shaped” slots

Remove and save the two non-slotted screws (SS) in the



round holes. This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket (A).

Routing the wires

 Route the wires exiting the top of the fan motor (E) into

the decorative motor collar cover (D) and through the canopy ring (O).

 Make sure the slot openings are on top and route the

wires through the canopy (C) and then through the ball/ downrod assembly (B).

Assembling the fan

CAUTION: To ensure wobble-free operation and to avoid damage to the fan, the downrod (B) and the setscrew (HH) must be completely tightened

NOTE: This fan is equipped with a safety tab (GG). Should

the setscrew (HH) ever become loose while the fan is running in reverse, the safety tab (GG) will engage and stop the fan from falling.

 Remove the setscrew (HH) by turning it counterclockwise.  Install the downrod (B) by inserting it into the motor collar (N),

and turning it clockwise until it is tight.

 Reinstall the setscrew (HH) turning clockwise until tight.

Attaching the fan to the electrical

box

Pass the 120-Volt supply wires through the center hole in the



slide-on mounting bracket (A). Install the ceiling mounting bracket on the outlet box by slid-



ing the slide-on mounting bracket (A) over the two screws (UU) provided with the outlet box. If necessary, use leveling washers (not included) between the slide-on mounting bracket (A) and the outlet box. Note that the at side of the mounting bracket (A) is toward the outlet box.

Hanging the fan

Carefully lift the fan-motor assembly (E) up to the slide-on



mounting bracket (A). Seat the hanger ball portion of the ball/downrod assembly (B)



in the mounting bracket socket. Ensure that the tab on the slide-on mounting bracket (A) socket is properly seated in the groove in the hanger ball.

 Securely tighten the two mounting screws (UU).

Setting the remote control codes

NOTE: The frequencies on your receiver and remote control have

been preset at the factory. Before installing the receiver, make sure the dip switches on the receiver and remote control are set to the same frequency. The dip switches on the remote control are located inside the battery compartment.

NOTE: This remote is equipped with a 16-code combination.

To prevent possible interference from or to other remote units, such as garage door openers, car alarms, or security systems, change the combination code, but be sure that the code on both the hand held transmitter and receiver in the fan are the same.

NOTE: The switch marked ON/DIM controls the dimming

function of the lights: If using CFL bulbs, use a ballpoint pen or small screwdriver to set the switch to ON to disable the dimming function. If using standard bulbs, set the switch to DIM to enable the dimming function.

To set the code on the remote control:

 Remove the battery cover by pressing rmly on the ar-

row and sliding the cover off.

 Slide the code switches to your choice of either up or

down. The factory setting is up.

 Install a 12-V battery (included) into the remote control.  Replace the battery cover on the remote control.

To set the code on the receiver:

 Slide the code switches to the same position as set on

your remote control.

Installing the receiver

WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, remember to disconnect power. The electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code requirements. The electrical source and fan must be 110/120 volt, 60Hz.

CAUTION: If other fan wires are a different color, have this unit installed by a licensed electrician.

CAUTION: Do not install the receiver in a damp location or immerse in water (For indoor use only). Do not pull on or cut the receiver leads shorter. Do not drop or bump the unit.

 Position the house supply wires (AAA) to one side of the

slide-on mounting bracket (A); position the fan wires (BBB)

to the opposite side.

 Insert the narrow end of the receiver (as shown, at side

towards the ceiling) into the slide-on mounting bracket until

it rests on top of the ball/downrod assembly.

Wiring the receiver to the household wiring

WARNING: Each wire not supplied with this fan is designed to accept up to one 12-gauge house wire and two wires from the fan. If you have larger than 12-gauge house wiring or more than one house wire to connect to the fan wiring, consult an electrician for the proper size wire nuts to use.

IMPORTANT: Use the wire connecting nuts (BB) supplied with

your fan. Secure the connectors with electrical tape and ensure there are no loose strands or connections.

 Spread the wires apart so that the green and white wires

are on one side of the outlet box and the black wire is on the other side.

 Connect the green fan wires to the household ground wire

(this may be a green or bare wire) using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Connect the receiver black (or red) wire to the household

black (hot) wire using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Connect the receiver white wire to the household white wire

(neutral) wire using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Secure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.

Wiring the fan to the receiver

IMPORTANT: Use the wire connecting nuts (BB) supplied with your

fan. Secure the connectors with electrical tape and ensure there are no loose strands or connections.

IMPORTANT: If after this step, you decide to check that the

electrical connections have been successful, it is critical to attach the light kit using the quick connector prior to testing. The fan will not operate unless the light kit is connected to the fan.

NOTE: The fan comes with 54 in. lead wires for use with an

extended ball/downrod assembly. If using the 4.5 in. ball/downrod assembly (B) provided, you can cut the lead wires to your desired length (no shorter than 12 in.).

 The fan comes with 54 in. lead wires for use with an extended

ball/downrod assembly. If using the 4.5 in. ball/downrod assembly (B) provided, you can cut the lead wires to your desired length (no shorter than 12 in.) This will make extra room in the canopy (C), if you do not wish to cut the wires, you will need to neatly wrap them.

 Connect the fan motor white wire to the receiver white wire

using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Connect the fan motor black wire to the receiver black wire

using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Connect the fan motor blue wire to the receiver blue wire

using a wire connecting nut (BB).

 Secure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.  Turn the wire connecting nut (BB) upward and push the wiring

into the outlet box (MM).

Wrapping the extra wire

NOTE: Follow this step ONLY if you did not cut the extra length off

from the wires coming from the ceiling fan to the receiver.

Gently wrap the excess wire around the mounting bracket,



under the receiver. Secure with electrical tape.



Mounting the fan-motor assembly



(standard mount)

WARNING: When using the standard ball/downrod mounting, the tab in the ring at the bottom of the mounting bracket must rest in the groove of the hanger ball. Failure to properly seat the tab in the groove could cause damage to the wiring.

WARNING: The locking slots of ceiling canopy are provided only as an aid to mounting. Do not leave the fan assembly unattended until all four canopy screws are engaged and rmly tightened.

Align the locking slots of the ceiling canopy (C) with the two screws in the mounting bracket (A). Push up to engage the slots and turn clockwise to lock in place.

 Firmly tighten the two mounting screws.

 Install the two mounting screws (saved from Assembly Step

1 “Prepairing for mounting”) into the holes in the canopy (C) and tighten rmly.

 Install the decorative canopy ring (M) by aligning the ring’s

slots with the screws in the canopy (C). Rotate the ring clockwise to lock in place.

Attaching the fan blades

Insert the blade (F) through the slot cut-off in the ywheel. Align the three screw holes in the blade with the screw

holes in the ywheel and secure with the blade attachment screws (AA).

Repeat for the remaining blades (F).



Attaching the switch cup adaptor

Remove one screw (EE) from the black bracket below the fan motor assembly (E). Loosen, but do not remove the other two screws.

Align the key hole slots in the switch cup adaptor (G) with the two screws in the black bracket.

Turn the switch cup adaptor (G) clockwise until the two screws are situated in the narrow end of the keyholes.

Re-install the one screw (EE) that was removed in rst step. Tighten all three screws rmly.

Attaching the light kit

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the light kit.

 Remove the three screws (FF) from the switch cup adaptor

(G) below the fan motor assembly (E).

 Connect the wires from the light kit to the blue and white

wires from the switch cup adaptor (G).

 Position switch cup (H) on the switch cup adaptor (G) below

the fan motor assembly (E) and align the three holes in the switch cup adaptor (G).

 Re-install the three screws removed in rst step in this

section to secure the switch cup (H).

Assembly - Attaching the Light Kit

Installing the light bulbs

WARNING: Do not overtighten when installing the glass shade into the light kit assembly. Allow the glass shade to cool completely before removing.

WARNING: Over lamping the fan will result in the fan lights shutting down until the proper wattage of bulbs are installed. Reset the lights by turning off lights, replacing the bulbs with the correct wattage bulbs, and turning the lights back on.

 Remove the bottom cover and nial from the threaded nipple

of the light kit tter assembly (H).

 With power off, install the three incandescent bulbs (Max.

60W, included) (J) by screwing them into the light bulb sockets.

 Position the glass bowl (I) over the threaded nipple.  Re-install the bottom cover to the threaded nipple to secure

the glass bowl (I) properly.

 Re-install and tighten the nial.

Remove the three light kit mounting screws (FF) on the



switch cup adaptor (G). In order to use the fan without the light kit, remove the switch



cup (NN) from the top of the light kit tter assembly (H) by removing the center hex nut inside the switch cup (NN), and then thread the switch cup (NN) off of the threaded nipple on the top of the light kit tter assembly (H).

 Press the plastic plug (CC) into the center hole of the switch

cup (NN).

 Position the switch cup (NN) on to the switch cup adaptor (G).

Operation

NOTE: The reverse switch is located at the top of motor housing.

Shut the fan off and wait until the blades have completely stopped before ipping the switch to reverse the direction of your ceiling fan.

Remote Control - Your fan is equipped with a remote control to operate the speed and lights of your new ceiling fan.

The appropriate speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as the room size, ceiling height, and number of fans.

The fan is shipped from the factory with the reversing switch positioned to circulate air downward. If airow is desired in the opposite direction, turn your fan off and wait for the blades to stop turning. Slide the reversing switch (located at the top of the motor housing) to the opposite position, and turn the fan on again. The fan blades will turn in the opposite direction and reverse the airow.

Operating the fan “4” button = Fourth speed (high) “3” button = Third speed “2” button = Second speed “1” button = First speed (low)

Warm weather - (Forward) A downward airow creates a cooling effect. This allows you to set your air conditioner on a warmer setting without affecting your comfort.

Cool weather - (Reverse) An upward airow moves warm air off of the ceiling. This allows you to set your heating unit on a cooler setting without affecting your comfort.

Power button (T): Press to turn the fan off. Light button (U): Press and release immediately to turn the light on

or off. Press and hold to dim or brighten the bulbs to the desired level and then release (the dimmer function is for Tungsten bulbs only).

Care and Cleaning

WARNING: Make sure the power is off before cleaning your fan.

Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade



attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling. Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage



the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.

You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a



light application of shoe polish.

 You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution

The fan will not start.  Check the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers.

 Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing.  Check the battery in the remote control.  Ensure you are in the normal range of 10-20 feet.  Turn the power off and ensure that the dip switch settings are the same on the remote control and receiver.

The fan is noisy.  Ensure all motor housing screws are snug.

 Ensure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight.  Ensure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing.  Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time.  If you are using the ceiling fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight. Check that the light

bulbs are also secure.  Ensure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling.  Ensure your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box.

The fan wobbles.  Check that all blade and blade arm screws are secure.

 Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on

the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measure from a point on the center of the blade to the point on the

ceiling. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement, and measure from the same point on

each blade to the ceiling. Repeat for each blade. Any measurement deviation should be within 1/8 in. Run the fan

for ten minutes.

LEE LAS INSTRUCCIONES Y GUÁRDALAS.

1. Todo el cableado debe cumplir con el Código Nacional de Electricidad ANSI/NFPA 70-1999 y con los códigos locales de electricidad. La instalación eléctrica debe ser hecha por un electricista certificado y calificado.

Las cajas eléctricas utilizadas comúnmente para el soporte de lámparas pueden no servir como soporte de ventilador y tal vez deban reemplazarse. En caso de duda, consulta a un electricista calicado.

Si tu ventilador de techo no tiene una caja de montaje aprobada por UL, instala una siguiendo las instrucciones a continuación:

 Desconecta la energía retirando los fusibles o apagando

los cortacircuitos.

 Asegura la caja eléctrica directamente a la estructura de

la edicación. Usa sujetadores y materiales apropiados. La caja eléctrica y su soporte deben sostener completamente el peso en movimiento del ventilador (al menos 15.9 kg). No uses una caja eléctrica de plástico.

Las ilustraciones a continuación muestran tres formas distintas de montar la caja eléctrica.

NOTA: Tal vez necesites un tubo bajante más largo para

 Retira el aro (O) de la cubierta (C), girándolo hacia la derecha

y pasa los cables a través de la cubierta (C) y luego a través del ensamblaje del tubo bajante/bola (B).

 Pasa los cables de suministro de 120 Voltios a través del

oricio central en el soporte de montaje deslizante (A).

 Instala el soporte de montaje de techo sobre la caja eléctrica

deslizando el soporte de montaje (A) sobre los dos tornillos (UU) suministrados con la caja eléctrica. Si es necesario, usa arandelas niveladoras (no incluidas) entre el soporte de montaje deslizante (A) y la caja eléctrica. Fíjate que el lado plano del soporte de montaje (A) esté hacia la caja eléctrica.

Cómo colgar el ventilador

 Con cuidado levanta el ensamblaje del motor del ventilador (E)

hasta el soporte de montaje deslizante (A).

 Coloca la bola de soporte del ensamblaje del tubo bajante/

Cómo congurar los códigos

del control remoto

NOTA: Las frecuencias del receptor y control remoto han sido

preconguradas de fábrica. Antes de instalar el receptor, asegúrate de que los interruptores en el transmisor y el control remoto estén congurados en la misma frecuencia. Los interruptores en el control remoto están ubicados dentro del compartimento de la batería.

NOTA: Este control remoto está equipado con una combinación

de 16 códigos. Para evitar posibles interferencias desde o hacia otras unidades de control remoto como los abrepuertas de garajes, alarmas de autos o sistemas de seguridad, cambia el código de combinación pero asegúrate de que el código del transmisor de mano y el del receptor del ventilador sean iguales.

NOTA: El interruptor marcado con ON/DIM controla la función

de regulación de intensidad de las luces: Si usas bombillas CFL, usa un bolígrafo de punta redonda o un destornillador pequeño para congurar el interruptor a la posición ON (encendido) para desactivar la función de regulación de intensidad. Si usas bombillas estándar, congura el interruptor a la posición DIM para activar la función de regulación de intensidad.

Para congurar el código del control remoto:

 Quita la cubierta de la batería presionando con rmeza

en la echa y deslizando la cubierta hasta soltarla.

 Desliza los interruptores de código a tu elección hacia

arriba o hacia abajo. Las conguraciones de fábrica son hacia arriba.

 Instala una batería de 12 V (incluida) en el control

remoto.

 Coloca de nuevo la cubierta en el control remoto.

Para congurar el código del receptor:

 Desliza los interruptores de código hacia la misma

posición que elegiste para el control remoto.

Cómo instalar el receptor

ADVERTENCIA: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o de descarga eléctrica, recuerda desconectar la electricidad. El cableado eléctrico debe cumplir todos los requisitos de códigos eléctricos nacionales y locales. La fuente de energía y el ventilador deben ser de 110/120 voltios y 60 Hz.  Ubica los cables de suministro doméstico (AAA) en un lado

Como conectar los cables del receptor a los cables del hogar

ADVERTENCIA: Cada cable no suministrado con este ventilador está diseñado para aceptar un máximo de un solo circuito eléctrico doméstico de calibre 12 y dos cables del ventilador. Si tienes un cableado doméstico superior a calibre 12 o más de un cable doméstico para conectar al cableado del ventilador, consulta a un electricista para conocer el tamaño adecuado de las tuercas para cables a usar.

IMPORTANTE: Usa las tuercas de conexión de cables (BB) incluidas

con el ventilador. Sujeta los conectores con cinta de electricista y asegúrate de que no haya conexiones o cables sueltos.

 Separa los cables de manera que los cables verde y blanco queden

de un lado de la caja eléctrica y el cable negro quede del otro lado.

 Conecta los cables verdes del ventilador al cable con conexión a

IMPORTANTE: Usa las tuercas de conexión de cables (BB) incluidas

 Alinea las ranuras de cierre de la cubierta de techo (C) con los

dos tornillos del soporte de montaje (A). Alza para enganchar las ranuras y gira de izquierda a derecha para asegurarla en su sitio.

 Ajusta rmemente los dos tornillos de montaje.

 Instala los dos tornillos de montaje (guardados en el paso

1 del ensamblaje, “cómo preparar la instalación”) en los oricios de la cubierta (C) y aprieta rmemente.

 Instala el aro (M) de la cubierta decorativa alineando las

ranuras del aro con los tornillos en la cubierta (C). Gira el aro en sentido de las manecillas del reloj para jarlo en su lugar.

ADVERTENCIA: No aprietes demasiado al instalar la pantalla de vidrio en el ensamblaje del kit de luces. Espera que la pantalla de vidrio se enfríe completamente antes de retirarla.

ADVERTENCIA: Colocar bombillas de vataje incorrecto hará que las luces del ventilador se apaguen hasta que se instale las bombillas adecuadas. Apaga la lámpara y reemplaza las bombillas con otras de vataje correcto y vuelve a encender las luces.

 Retira la cubierta inferior y el remate de la boquilla roscada

del ensamblaje del soporte del kit de luces (H).

 Con la electricidad apagada, instala las tres bombillas

uorescentes (60 W Máx, incluidas) (J), enroscándolas en los portabombillas.

 Coloca el tazón de vidrio (I) sobre la boquilla roscada.  Reinstala la cubierta inferior en la boquilla roscada para

asegurar el tazón de vidrio (J) debidamente.

 Reinstala el remate y apriétalo.

El ventilador se envía desde la fábrica con el interruptor de reversa posicionado para hacer circular el aire hacia abajo. Si deseas dirigir la corriente de aire en la dirección contraria, apaga el ventilador y espera que las aspas se detengan. Desliza el interruptor de reversa (ubicado en la caja de interruptores) hacia la dirección opuesta y luego vuelve a encender el ventilador. Las aspas del ventilador girarán en sentido contrario y revertirán la dirección de la corriente de aire.

Clima cálido - (Hacia adelante) Un ujo de aire descendente crea un efecto de enfriamiento. Esto te permite jar tu aire acondicionado en una conguración más alta sin afectar tu comodidad.

Clima frío - (Reversa) Un ujo de aire hacia arriba mueve el aire cálido lejos del techo. Esto te permite congurar la unidad de calefacción más baja sin afectar tu comodidad.

Botón de encendido (T): Presiónalo para apagar el ventilador. Botón para luces (U): Oprime y suelta el botón inmediatamente

para encender o apagar la luz. Mantén presionado para regular la intensidad de la luz de las bombillas al nivel deseado y luego suéltalo (la función de regulación de intensidad es solo para bombillas de Tungsteno).

Mantenimiento y limpieza

ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrate de que la electricidad esté apagada antes de limpiar el ventilador.

 Debido al movimiento natural del ventilador, algunas conexiones pueden aojarse. Revisa las conexiones de soporte, soportes y

accesorios de aspas dos veces al año. Verica que estén seguras. No es necesario desmontar el ventilador del techo.

 Limpia tu ventilador con frecuencia, para que luzca como nuevo con el paso de los años. No uses agua al limpiar, esto puede dañar

el motor o la madera, o causar descargas eléctricas. Usa solamente un cepillo suave o un paño sin pelusas para evitar arañar el acabado. El revestimiento está sellado con laca para minimizar la decoloración u opacidad.

 Puedes aplicar a la madera una na capa de pulimento para muebles para una mayor protección y belleza. Cubre los arañazos

pequeños con una leve aplicación de lustrador para calzado.

 No necesitas lubricar tu ventilador. El motor tiene cojinetes de bola sellados, permanentemente lubricados.

El ventilador no enciende.

El ventilador oscila.  Verica que todas las aspas y tornillos de los brazos de aspas estén seguros.

 Verica los fusibles o disyuntores principales y secundarios.  Verica las conexiones de cables en línea al ventilador y conexiones de cables del interruptor en la caja de

interruptores.  Revisa la batería del control remoto.  Asegúrate de estar en el rango normal de 3 a 6 metros.  Apaga la electricidad y asegúrate de que coincidan las conguraciones del interruptor en el control remoto y el

receptor.  Asegúrate de que todos los tornillos de la carcasa del motor estén ajustados.

 Asegúrate de que los tornillos que unen el soporte de aspa al cuerpo del motor están bien ajustados.  Asegúrate de que las conexiones de tuerca de cable no choquen unas con otras o con la pared interior de la caja

del interruptor.  Espera que transcurra un período de 24 horas de “adaptación”. La mayoría de los ruidos asociados con un nuevo

ventilador desaparecen en ese período.  Si usas el kit de luces de ventilador de techo, asegúrate de que los tornillos que sujetan el vidrio estén bien

colocados. Verica que las bombillas estén bien aseguradas.  Asegúrate de que la cubierta esté a una corta distancia del techo. No debería tocar el techo.  Asegúrate de que tu caja eléctrica esté bien segura y que las almohadillas aislantes de goma se hayan instalado

entre la placa de montaje y la caja eléctrica.

 La mayoría de los problemas de oscilación del ventilador se deben a que las aspas no están a un mismo nivel.

Verica este nivel seleccionando un punto en el techo sobre la punta de una de las aspas. Mide desde un punto

en el centro de cada aspa a un punto en el techo. Rota el ventilador hasta que la siguiente aspa esté posicionada

para medir, y mide desde el mismo punto en cada aspa hasta el techo. Repite para cada aspa. Las desviaciones

de la medición deben estar dentro de un rango de 0.3 cm. Enciende el ventilador durante diez minutos.
