We are pleased you have chosen KinderBike for assistance in your child’s balance training. Your KinderBike trainer has been designed to get your child riding safely and quickly. In doing so, your child will develop the critical motor skills of balance and agility. Before assembling your child’s trainer, it is essential that you read this owner’s manual fully. In doing so you will fully understand the trainer’s capabilities, as well as some safety concerns inherent to bicycle riding.
KinderBike recommends that all bike assembly, tuning and repairs be performed by a qualified bicycle technician. If you are ever
unsure, please seek the assistance of a qualified professional.

PARENTS: This manual contains important safety information. For your child’s safety, it is your responsibility that you (the caregiver) review
this information with your child and make sure that your child understands all warnings, cautions, instructions and safety concerns. KinderBike recommends that you periodically inspect and maintain your child’s trainer to insure their continued safety.
GENERAL WARNING:
LIKE ANY OTHER TOY VEHICLE, USING A TRAINING BIKE CAN BE A DANGEROUS ACTIVITYAND MAY RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH EVEN
WHEN USED WITH PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND USE COMMON SENSE.
• Always
wear approved proper protective equipment, such as an ANSI, SNELL, CPSC or ASTM approved helmet. Long sleeve shirt and pants are recommended. The rider should wear
athletic shoes (lace-up shoes with rubber soles). NEVER ride barefoot.. Keep shoelaces tied and out of the way of the wheels.
NEVER ride in traffic or on the street and watch surroundings for pedestrians, bikes, and moving vehicles. Use the trainer in areas free from hazards, such as poles, fire hydrants, curbs,
parked cars and traffic.
The trainer should only be ridden on flat, level surfaces that are free of obstructions, bumps, sand, gravel, water, ice and other debris.
WARNING:
ALWAYS INSPECT TRAINER PRIOR TO RIDING. Properly
inspecting and maintaining your trainer can reduce the risk of injury.

REGARDING THE USE OF NON-KINDERBIKE PRODUCTS WITH YOUR KINDERBIKE TRAINER.
. Your trainer has been built to KinderBike's design specifications. All original equipment supplied at the time of sale were schosen on the basis of their compatibility with the frame, fork and all other components. Certain after-market products may or may not be compatible with your KinderBike trainer. Please consult your retailer or contact KinderBike prior to modifying or replacing any component with a non-factory specified component.
WARNING:
CHECK LOCAL LAWS REGARDING RIDE-ON TOY USAGE. Check local
laws and regulations to see where and how you may use your KinderBike trainer legally. In
certain municipalities, ordinances require riders to wear a helmet. Check local laws and regulations regarding helmet usage and ride-on toy operation for the area you intend to use the trainer.
CAUTION:
The trainer’s primary stopping method is via the child’s feet. Ensure your child understands how to stop with his/her feet before riding.
Ensure tires are inflated to the specified pressure before operating. The KinderBike trainer is a child's ride-on toy and should not be used by adults or children in excess of 75lbs (34kg). Ages 3+

ASSEMBLY
Step 1: Remove contents from box & inventory. Contact KinderBike at (888) 666-9310 for missing parts.
Step 2: Cut tie straps securing handlebar and front wheel assemblies to trainer. Remove handlebar stem black end
cap (Fig.1). The black end cap is for shipping purposes only. Remove all other packing material from the trainer.
Step 3: Insert handlebar into front headset, with the pie shaped wedge hanging slightly below handlebar stem when inserting
(Fig.2). Tighten top Allen bolt securely using supplied Allen wrench (Fig.3). Install front wheel (Fig. 4).
ote: Further adjustment of the handlebar is accomplished via an underside Allen bolt, which allows the handlebars
to be adjusted forward/back as desired.
Step 4: Install the front reflector (see “Reflector Installation Guide” herein)
Step 5: Adjust saddle height as appropriate. Your child's feet should touch the ground, with a slight bend at the knees.
Step 6: Adjust brake lever and brake assembly as necessary to ensure proper alignment. If you're unsure, please
contact your local bicycle retailer for assistance.
ote: Your child's trainer has been fitted with a linear-pull, rear brake. This type of brake is easiest for young riders to
use. Depending on your child's hand strength and dexterity, your child may not be able to use the brake at first. Please ensure your child understands that they can stop the trainer with their feet.
Step 7: Ensure tires are inflated to the recommended pressure (PSI) as indicated on the outside wall of the tire.
Step 8: Ensure all trainer hardware is tightened securely before each use.
Step 9: Adjust your child's helmet so that it is secure and snug. Never let your child ride without an approved bicycle helmet.
