Durable ½" SunMate pads clad
in neoprene are available in three
sizes to suit the needs and comfort
of the user. Optional 1" SunMate or
½" Pudgee pads are available for
added pressure relief.

• Ensure instant, proper positioning during transfers,

• The release knob prevents play in the swing-away
mechanism. The user or care-giver controls the amount
of movement in the swing-away mechanism by clamping
down on the release knob.

• The swing-away pivot-point mechanism is a

Usage, Cleaning and Warranty

Clinical Use

The objective of Knee Adductors is to position the knees out
of abduction and into better alignment, which can provide for
improved weight bearing and stability.

AEL offers one of the widest range of knee positioning support
options to accommodate a variety of user needs and chair
configurations. AEL Knee Adductors provide comfortable
and effective support to help maximize seating tolerance and
function.

Cleaning Guidelines

Using a soft cloth, wipe hardware surfaces clean with water
and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or abrasive
cleansers.

Lifetime Hardware Warranty

AEL stands by its quality with a lifetime warranty on all hardware.
Any AEL Knee Adductor found to be defective in material and
workmanship during normal use will be repaired or replaced at
AEL’s discretion. Knee Adductor Pads carry a one-year warranty.

Itemized Ordering

If you prefer to itemize
your Hardware and Pad
Assembly order, just follow
these simple steps.

Select from 7/8" or 1" frame-mounted brackets, or track-mounted
options based on the wheelchair frame as well as left- or right-sided
mounting preference. If ordering a pair, be sure to order a Left and
Right side hardware assembly.

Using the table below, select your Hardware

Upgrade the standard 1/2" medium
