1. Parts List
All the parts and tool you need to assemble the Classic Toddler Bed are provided. Before assembling the Classic Toddler Bed check that you have all the parts listed below. If any parts are missing please contact your retailer or contact 01952 461148.

2. Assembly instructions
Tools required: Allen wrench (provided). Flat head screw driver. Note: It is recommended that assembly and dismantling is carried out by two persons, one person to
hold the parts in position the other to screw in the fixings.
WARNING. Keep young children away from the area you are using to assemble or
dismantle the Classic Toddler Bed Some of the parts are heavy and could fall on the child. Some of the fixings are a choking hazard to young children.
WARNING Incorrect assembly or failure these instructions could result in serious injury
or death.
ATTACHING THE MATTRESS BASE TO THE ENDS OF THE BED
Attach the mattress base (3), to the Head end (1) using the Fixing bolts (C) and the Barrel nuts (B). IMPORTANT: The head end of the bed has four small fixing holes, two on either side and the
mattress base has two fixing holes in the outside of the mattress rail, (one on either side) the holes are positioned near one end of the mattress base – MAKE SURE you attach the head end to the end of the mattress base closest to the fixing holes (the holes are used to attch the bed guard).
Using a screwdriver align the threaded hole of the barrel nut in the corner of the mattress base and insert the fixing bolt, through the mattress base support hole in the end and into the drilled holes in the ends of the mattress base as shown.
Use the Allen wrench (A) to screw the fixing bolts into the barrel nuts – DO NOT TIGHTEN. Follow these steps for each corner of the mattress base – NOW TIGHTEN ALL OF THE BOLTS.
ATTACHING THE BED GUARDS TO THE BED
Take one of the bed guards (4) and line up the three holes on the bed guard with the three holes on the bed. Using the Allen wrench and three of the bed guard fixing screws (D) screw the bed guard to the bed. Attach the second bed guard to the other side of the bed..
DISASSEMBLING THE BED
Using the Allan wrench loosen and remove the Bed guard fixing screws (D). . Using the Allan wrench unscrew each of the base fixings. Store all parts safely, out of reach of children.

3. Choosing the mattress
A mattress is not supplied with the Classic Toddler Bed we recommend that you use a 140 cm by 69 cm mattress. The thickness of the mattress chosen for the Toddler Bed must be at least 7 cm.
4. Guide for safe use
This child’s bed is suitable for children who have outgrown a cot (approximately 18 months of age) up to the age of 4 years.
Children are likely to play, bounce, jump and climb on beds, the child's bed should not be placed too close to other furniture or windows, and should be placed either tight to any wall or have a gap of 300 mm between the wall and the side of the bed. It is strongly recommended that children are supervised and discouraged from jumping or climbing on the Classic Toddler Bed.
WARNING: Do not place the Classic Toddler Bed near heat sources. Be aware of the
risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires,
gas fires, etc. in the vicinity of the cot. WARNING: Do not use the Classic Toddler Bed if any part is broken, torn or missing. WARNING. Do not place this child’s bed near windows and other furniture.
5. Cleaning instructions
The Classic Toddler Bed may be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth and drying with a soft clean cloth.
Do not use abrasives, bleach, alcohol or ammonia-based household polishes.
6. Maintenance
All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and checked regularly and retightened as necessary. Loose fixings may snag a child’s clothing or pinch fingers or flesh.
Spare or replacement parts can be obtained from the Llttle Acorns by phoning 01952 461148. It is recommended that any additional parts are obtained from the manufacturer or distributor.
WARNING: Do not use the Classic Toddler Bed if any part is broken torn or missing.
Use only spare or replacement parts approved by the [manufacturer].
