General Safety Notes
Users that have taken CDMA additional options are
requested to report to communication common carrier in case of losing the unit.
Renting the device to a stranger must be avoided.
The use of the device should be limited while driving.
To receive A/S, contact the number indicated for purchase
at the back of User Manual.
About inquiries for optional applications besides the
hardware or basic software embedded in the unit, contact directly to a relevant production company.
Only the designated battery and adaptor must be used.
The manufacturer accepts no liability of providing A/S for
defects caused by a user that is undesignated or unregistered for a certain product.
Directions for Carrying and Storage
The unit must not be placed in a high heat and a damp
environment, which may cause a fatal damage or unexpected problem.
Giving a shock such as dropping the unit from the heights
be avoided. It may result in a fatal damage to the device.
Opening the unit or making modifications must not be
taken. Such actions may result in electric shocks and damages of the unit.
Modifications to the unit make the manufacturer’s
warranty for A/S null and void.
The unit must not be used in a insufficiently ventilated
place where inflammable and explosive gases exist. There is a risk of fire and explosion.
Users must avoid to let metals and inflammables be
inserted or to purposely insert those materials in the interfacing part of the SD memory of the unit. Such actions cause a fire or electric shocks.
Operating the unit with wet hands may result in electric
shocks.
Barcode Scanner’s rays must not be rayed directly to
human eyes. There is a risk of damaging sights.
The unit should be kept out of the reach of infants and
children.
If using the portable RFID reader for extended periods,
its internal and the battery’s temperatures increase. With a high heat, the device may stop.
The unit must not be left in a car with insufficient
ventilation or in a place with direct rays. Such actions result in damaging components inside or the appearance of the unit, which may cause a fire.

Only the designated battery must be used. Using other
batteries has a risk of fire or explosion.
Be aware that metals such as steel wires or hairpins are
not to be attached to an electric contact of the battery.
Separate the battery, if not using the unit for a long time.
If the battery’s liquid leaks and gets into the unit, components inside could be fatally damaged.
Be aware battery short-circuit when separating the battery
from the unit.
Disassembling the battery must be avoided. It may cause
leaks or explosion.
If the battery’s liquid gets in eyes, do not rub but wash off
with clean water. The person is requested to contact his or her doctor due to the risk of losing eye sight.
In case of doubt for problems like a smoke coming out
from the battery, separate the battery immediately at a safe place. When disjoining the battery, take caution in order to avoid burns. Users that have a battery with problems are advised to contact where it was originally purchased.
Battery is expendables. Repeating charging and
discharging shortens the life of the battery. Users are recommended to purchase a new battery when the life of the old battery is a half left.
The Battery pack can be over-discharged and then be
unusable due to the long-term use. Before keeping the battery on file, perform “Hard Reset” and then detach the main battery for storage.
The battery should be kept in a place under dry and
low temperature of 20 degrees Celsius or below. And, the battery should be charged every 2~3 months.
The main battery and sub-battery pack are both
expendables and have a lifecycle. Replacement of the battery is recommended after a certain time.
Only a designated charger to the unit must be used.
Users are requested to use the device only at the stated
supply voltage or power supply unit. If the supply voltage is wrong, there is a risk of fire and electric shocks.
Users that have a charger with problems are advised to
contact where it was originally purchased. Using it may cause a fire or electric shocks.
If it lightens and thunders, remove the power plug and
the unit should not be used. It may cause a damage of the unit, a fire or electric shocks.
Foreign substances like dirt should be cleaned off the
power plug. Those substances may cause a fire.
The battery pack can be discharged if not using the
PDA for extended periods, if keeping the battery equipped for extended periods and not using it on the process of program development. In this case, the battery can become unusable. Users are requested to charge the battery pack once every 2~3 months.
