
Out of the Box
To get your A95X A2 Android TV Box up and running,
you’ll need to start with the following:

Connect the HDMI cable to the TV Box and the TV

If you’re going to be using an ethernet cable to
connect to the internet, connect this to the TV Box (otherwise
connect to WiFi once the TV Box is turned on)

Connect the power cable to a mains plug and the back of the
TV Box

Push the blue button on the TV Box to start. Wait for the home
page to load

Initial Set-Up

Select your required language
-
Scale the picture size to your TV. The default is 100%, make
this smaller if necessary (90% works for us!)

Connect to your network using an ethernet cable or WiFi
-
Continue at the “Interface” screen
-
“Success” means you can move on to the next step in setting
the TV Box up!
The initial set-up wizard will appear.

If you haven’t already, connect to the internet by WiFi or an
Ethernet cable. Go to Settings > Network > WiFi
-
Check the time is correct. This can sometimes affect programs
not working properly. The time can be changed in Settings >
Preferences > Date and Time

Make sure “Unknown Sources” is turned on. Go to Settings >
Personal > Security & Settings > Unknown Sources On

Click on the “Play Store” icon and either sign in or sign up. You
can download 100’s of apps from here
Initial Set-Up

If Kodi (TVMC) is not in the “My Apps” section (as highlighted in
the yellow box in image 1), then download Kodi (TVMC) by
clicking the HELP icon and following the instructions:

Press “I agree”

Click on Kodi (TVMC) as in image 2

Download Kodi (TVMC)
-
Install app as in image 3
-
The icon will now sit in the “My Apps” section. Click to open
YouTube have a host of tutorial videos on how to use the program
in more detail. If you search for the video “Kodi Complete 2017
Beginners Guide!!! Full Kodi Setup Tutorial!!”, you’ll be led
through the process.
Downloading Kodi

Downloading Other Apps
To download other apps, go to the Help section again, press
“I agree”, but this time select “Apps” in image 1, then select
whichever apps you would like to download from the screen
in image 2
Downloaded apps will be added to the “Downloads” folder,
highlighted in yellow in image 3. Click this folder and follow
the instructions to complete the download of your app.
Find all your downloaded Apps in “My Apps”

Remote Control

There is a “mouse” feature on the remote which is useful when
searching in Apps on the TV Box
-
Press the mouse icon on the remote (as highlighted in yellow on
the image) and use the arrows to navigate up/down and side to
side. Press the mouse icon again to deactivate this feature
(When using the remote, ensure it is pointed directly at the TV Box)

Maintenance
-
Weekly, highlight the “Red Brush” icon and perform a “Cache
Clean” to keep your TV Box running smoothly
