INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSFIXTURE DIAGRAM

1. Thread center threaded tube (with pre-installed hexnut)[B] into top of shade[A] as shown. Screw hexnut on center tube down tightly against coupling on shade to secure.

2. Slide the decorative center body[C] and trim[D] down over installed center threaded tube. Slide coupling[E] down and thread onto threads protruding from top of the assembly.

3. Pass fixture wires through desired number of shor t threaded tubes[F] and stems[G] and screw stems together using short threaded tubes. Thread assembled stems into coupling.

NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.

4. Pass fixture wires through swivel[H] and into canopy[I]. Thread swivel into end of last stem. Note direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.

5. Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 6” from top edge of canopy.

6. Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap[O] that align with hole distance in canopy[I]. Screw mounting screws[L] into threaded holes starting from outlet box side.

7. Attach mounting strap to outlet box[N] using the supplied strap mounting screws[M]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.

8. Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b). a. On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap

ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.

b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under

cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.

If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

10. Push fix ture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through holes in canopy. NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or canopy and

ceiling.

11. Use lock washers[J] and knobs[K] to secure canopy [I]. Tighten to secure.

12. Insert recommended bulb(s). (Not supplied).

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION

1. Vissez le tube fileté central (avec l’écrou hexagonal préinstallé)[B] en haut du cache[A] (voir illustration). Vissez fermement l’écrou hexagonal sur le tube central contre l’accouplement sur le cache pour le fixer.

2. Faites glisser le corps central décoratif[C] et la garniture[D] vers le bas sur le tube fileté central installé. Faites glisser l’accouplement[E] vers le bas et vissez-le sur les filets dépassant de l’assemblage.

3. Faites passer les fils du luminaire dans le nombre souhaité de tubes filetés cour ts[F] et de tiges[G] et vissez les tiges ensemble à l’aide de tubes filetés courts. Vissez les tiges assemblées dans l’accouplement.

REMARQUE : Appliquer le frein filet sur tous les filets de la tige indiqués par le symbole (4) pour empêcher la rotation accidentelle du luminaire pendant le nettoyage, remplacement de lampe, etc.

4. Acheminez les fils du luminaire depuis la rotule[H] et dans le cache[I]. Vissez la rotule sur l’extrémité de la dernière tige. Prenez note du sens de la rotule par rapport au plafond.

5. Coupez les fils du luminaire à 15 cm MINIMUM du bord supérieur du cache.

6. Localisez les trous taraudés appropriés, sur l’étrier de montage[O], qui s’alignent sur la distance de trou dans le cache[I]. Serrez les vis de montage[L] dans les trous taraudés en commençant par la boîte de sortie.

7. Fixez l’étrier de montage sur la boîte de sortie[N] avec les vis de montage de l’étrier[M]. Vous pouvez régler l’étrier de montage en fonction de la position du luminaire.

8. Connecter les fils. Se reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour faire les connexions.

9. Rapprochez le luminaire du plafond en passant soigneusement les vis de montage par les trous dans le cache.

REMARQUE : S’assurer que les fils ne se coincent pas entre l’étrier de montage et le cache ou le cache et le plafond.

10. Utilisez des rondelles de blocage[J] et des boutons[K] pour fixer le cache[I]. Serrez pour fixer.

11. Installez la ou les ampoules recommandées (non fournies).

ATTENTION – RISQUE DE DÉCHARGES ÉLECTRIQUES: Couper le courant au niveau du panneau du disjoncteur du circuit principal ou de la boîte à fusibles principale avant de procéder à l’installation.

1. Ce luminaire doit être installé conformément aux codes d’électricité nationaux (NEC) et satisfaire toutes les spécifications des codes locaux. Si vous ne connaissez pas les exigences de ces codes, il est recommandé de confier l’installation à un électricien certifié. Ne pas se conformer à ces codes et directives pourrait provoquer des blessures sérieuses et/ou des dommages matériels et rendre la garantie non valide.

NETTOYAGE :

• Soyez toujours certain que l’alimentation électrique du luminaire est fermée avant le nettoyage.

• N’utilisez qu’un chion doux humide. Les produits de nettoyage acides/abrasifs peuvent endommager le fini.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN

1. Enrosque el tubo roscado central (con la tuerca hexagonal preinstalada)[B] en la parte superior de la pantalla[A] como se muestra. Enrosque la tuerca hexagonal del tubo central contra el acoplamiento en la pantalla para asegurarlo.

2. Deslice el cuerpo central decorativo[C] y el adorno[D] hacia abajo sobre el tubo roscado central instalado. Deslice el acoplamiento[E] hacia abajo y enrósquelo en las roscas que sobresalen de la parte superior del montaje.

3. Pase los cables del artefacto a través del número deseado de tubos roscados cortos[F] y vástagos[G] y enrosque los vástagos entre sí utilizando los tubos roscados cor tos. Enrosque los vástagos ya armados en el acoplamiento.

NO TA: Se debe aplicar compuesto de bloqueo de roscas a las roscas de vástago según lo indicado con el símbolo () para evitar la rotación accidental del artefacto durante la limpieza, el reemplazo de los focos, etc.

4. Pase los cables del artefacto a través de la unión giratoria[H] y hacia la cubierta[I]. Enrosque la unión giratoria en el extremo del último vástago. Observe la dirección de la unión giratoria de acuerdo con el techo.

5. Corte los cables del artefacto a un MÍNIMO de 6” del borde superior de la cubierta.

6. Encuentre los orificios roscados apropiados en la abrazadera de montaje[O] que se alinean con la distancia de los orificios en la cubierta[I]. Enrosque los tornillos de montaje[L] en los orificios roscados empezando por el lado de la caja de salida.

7. Fije la abrazadera de montaje a la caja de salida[N] utilizando los tornillos de montaje de la abrazadera suministrados[M]. La abrazadera de montaje puede ajustarse para adaptarse a la posición del artefacto.

8. Instrucciones de conexión a tierra solamente para los Estados Unidos. (Vea la ilustracion a o b). a. En las lámparas que tienen la abrazadera de montaje con un agujero y dos hoyuelos

realzados, enrollar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida alrededor del tornillo verde y pasarlo por el aquiero.

b. En las lámparas con una arandela acopada, fijar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida del ajo

de la arandela acoada y tornillo verde, y paser por a abrazadera de montaje.

Si la lámpara viene con alambre a tierra, conecter el alambre a tierra de la lámpara al alambre a tierra de la caja de salida con un conector de alambres espués de seguir los pasos anteriores. Nunca conectar el alambra a tierra a los alambres eléctros negro o blanco.

10. Empuje el artefacto hacia el techo, pasando con cuidado los tornillos de montaje a través de los orificios de la cubierta.

NO TA: Asegúrese de que los cables no queden apretados entre la abrazadera de montaje y la cubierta o la cubierta y el techo.

11. Use las arandelas de seguridad[J] y las perillas[K] para asegurar la cubierta[I]. Apriete para asegurar.

12. Inserte los focos recomendados. (No suministrados).
