1) Pass fixture wire from coupling on top of socket cluster
through end of long threaded pipe. Thread end of long

2) Pass fixture wire through long tube. Lower long tube down
over long threaded pipe.
3) Pass fixture wire through hole in coupling. Thread coupling
onto end of threaded pipe protruding from long tube.
4) Pass wire from coupling through stem. Thread end of stem into

5) Pass fixture wire through remaining stems and screw stems
together.
6) Thread one small threaded pipe into end of each small loop.
7) Pass fixture wire through first loop. Thread first loop onto
end of last stem.
8) Pass fixture wire through second loop and through hole in
canopy.

9) Pass threaded pipe at end of second loop through hole in
canopy.
10) Pass fixture wire through hole in lockwasher. Thread
lockwasher onto end of threaded pipe protruding from
inside canopy.
11) Pass fixture wire through hole in hexnut. Thread hexnut onto
end of threaded pipe.

12) Attach chain link to small loop at end of stem and to loop on
canopy.
13) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work
without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your
home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF”
position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker
switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room
that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture

to be replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in
the “OFF” position.
14) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap.
Assemble mounting screws into threaded holes.
15) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided).
Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
16) Grounding instructions: (See Illus. A or B).
A) On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a
hole and two raised dimples. Wrap ground wire from

outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into
hole.
B) On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided. Attach
ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and
green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire. Connect fixture
ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector
(not provided.) after following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

17) Make wire connections (connectors not provided). Reference
chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

18) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws
through holes in canopy.
19) Thread knurl knobs onto mounting screws. Tighten knurl
knobs to secure fixture to ceiling.
20) Unscrew ball studs holding retaining plates in place above
socket cluster. Remove both retaining plates.
21) Lower one half of top glass diffuser down onto bracket in
center of fixture above socket cluster.
22) Set one retaining plate on top of top glass diffuser. Align
holes in retaining plate with holes in top glass diffuser.
23) Thread end of one ball stud into hole in retaining plate and
into top glass diffuser. Carefully tighten ball stud to secure
retaining plate and top glass diffuser in place. (DO NOT over
tighten.)
24) Repeat steps 21-23 for remaining top glass diffuser and
retaining plate.
25) Thread end of threaded pipe with hexnut into hole in bottom
of socket cluster.
26) Screw hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
27) Raise shade up to fixture. Fit shade over socket cluster.
28) Raise glass diffuser up to fixture. Pass hole in glass diffuser
over end of threaded pipe. Fit glass diffuser up against
bracket on bottom of shade.
29) Pass hole in rubber washer over end of threaded pipe
protruding from bottom of glass. Pass hole in flat washer
over end of threaded pipe. (DO NOT over tighten.)
30) Thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
31) Pass hole in bottom trim over end of threaded pipe. Thread
finial onto end of threaded pipe. (DO NOT over tighten.)
32) Attach large crystal to loop in center of fixture body.
33) Attach small crystal to loop on bottom of finial.

1) Pase el alambre del artefacto desde el acoplamiento en la
parte superior del grupo del portalámparas a través del
extremo del tubo roscado largo. Enrosque el tubo roscado
largo en el acoplamiento.
2) Pase el alambre del artefacto a través del tubo largo. Baje el
tubo largo sobre el tubo roscado largo en la parte superior
del cuerpo del artefacto.
3) Pase el alambre del artefacto a través del agujero en el
acoplamiento. Enrosque el acoplamiento en el extremo del
tubo roscado que sobresale de la tapa superior.
4) Pase el alambre desde el acoplamiento a través del vástago.
Enrosque el extremo del vástago en el acoplamiento.
NOTA: El compuesto para rosca estanca se debe aplicar a
todas las roscas del vástago como se notó con el símbolo (3)
para impedir la rotación accidental del artefacto durante la
limpieza, instalación de una bombilla nueva, etc.
5) Pase el alambre del artefacto a través de los vástagos
restantes y atornille los vástagos juntos.
6) Atornillar un pequeño tubo roscado en el extremo de cada
lazo pequeño.
7) Pase el cable a través del primer lazo. Atornillar el primer
lazo en el extremo del vástago de la última.
8) Pase el cable a través del segundo lazo y a través del agujero
en el escudete.
9) Pase el tubo roscado en el extremo del segundo lazo
pequeño a través del agujero en el escudete.
10) Pase el alambre del artefacto a través del agujero en la
arandela de seguridad. Rosque la arandela de seguridad
dentro del extremo del tubo roscado que sobresale del
escudete interior.
11) Pase el alambre del artefacto a través del agujero en la tuerca
hexagonal. Rosque la tuerca hexagonal sobre el extremo del
tubo roscado.
12) Acople un eslabón de cadena al lazo pequeño en el extremo
del vástago y al lazo en el escudete.
13) APAGUE LA ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA.
IMPORTANTE: Antes de comenzar, NUNCA trate de trabajar
sin antes desconectar la corriente hasta que el trabajo se
termine.
a) Vaya a la caja principal de fusibles, o interruptor o caja
de circuitos de su casa. Coloque el interruptor de la
corriente principal en posición de apagado “OFF”.
b) Desatornille el (los) fusible (s), o coloque el interruptor o
interruptores del breaker en posición de apagado
“OFF”, que controla (n) la corriente hacia el artefacto o
habitación donde está trabajando.
c) Coloque el interruptor de pared en posición de apagado
“OFF”. Si el artefacto que se va a reemplazar tiene un
interruptor o cadena que se jala, colóquelos en la
posición de apagado “OFF”.
14) Encontrar los agujeros roscados correctos en la abrazadera
de montaje. Instalar los tornillos de montaje en los agujeros
roscados.
15) Unir la abrazadera de montaje a la caja de conexiones. (No
se proveen tornillos). La abrazadera de montaje puede
ajustarse para acomodar la posición del artefacto.
16) Instrucciones de conexión a tierra solamente para los
Estados Unidos. (Vea la ilustracion A o B).
A) En las lámparas que tienen el fleje, de montaje con un
agujero y dos hoyue los realzados. Enrollar el alambre a
tierra de la caja tomacorriente alrededor del tornillo verde y
pasarlo por el aquiero.
B) En las lámparas con una arandela acopada. Fijar el
alambre a tierra de la caja tomacorriente del ajo de la
arandela acoada y tornillo verde, y paser por el fleje de
montaje.
Si la lámpara viene con alambre a tierra. Conecter el
alambre a tierra de la lámpara al alambre a tierra de la caja
tomacorriente con un conector de alambres (no incluido)
espués de seguir los pasos anteriores. Nunca conectar el
alambra a tierra a los alambres eléctros negro o blanco.

17) Haga les conexiones de los alambres (no se proveen los
connectores.) La tabla de referencia de abajo indica las
conexiones correctas y los alambres correspondientes.

cuadrada o estriada y el otro alambre será de
forma redonda o lisa. (Vea la ilustracíón).
18) Empuje el artefacto hacia el techo, pasando cuidadosamente
los tornillos de montaje a través de los orificios en el
escudete.
19) Atornille las perillas estriadas en los tornillos de montaje.
Ajuste las perillas estriadas para fijar el artefacto en el techo.
20) Desenrosque los pernos esféricos para rótula que sostienen
las placas de retención por encima del conjunto de zócalos.
Extraiga ambas placas de retención.
21) Deslice una de las mitades del difusor de cristal superior
para que descanse sobre el soporte en el centro del artefacto,
por encima del conjunto de zócalos.
22) Coloque una placa de retención sobre el difusor de cristal
superior. Alinee los orificios de la placa de retención con los
orificios del difusor de cristal superior.
23) Enrosque el extremo de uno de los pernos esféricos para
rótula en el orificio de la placa de retención para sujetar el
difusor de cristal superior. Ajuste cuidadosamente el perno
esférico para rótula a fin de asegurar la placa de retención y
el difusor de cristal superior en la posición correspondiente
(no lo ajuste excesivamente).
24) Repita los pasos 21 al 23 con los demás difusores de cristal
superiores y con la otra placa de retención.
25) Atornille el extremo corto del tubo roscado con el tuerca
hexagonal de cuenta en el parte inferior en el centro de la
grupo de portalámparas.
26) Atornille el tuerca hexagonal al tubo roscado.
27) Resbale el arandela plana, luego el arandela de caucho
encima el extremo del tubo roscado.
28) Levante el vidrio hasta el artefacto, pasando cuidadosamente
el tubo roscado a través del agujero en el vidrio.
29) Resbale la arandela de caucho, luego la arandela plana
encima del tubo roscado y atornille la tuerca hexagonal. (NO
apriete excesivamente.)
30) Atornille el tuerca hexagonal al tubo roscado.(NO apriete
excesivamente.)
31) Pase el agujero de la guarnición inferior por el extremo del
tubo roscado. Atornille el capuchón al tubo roscado.
(NO apriete excesivamente.)
32) Conecte el cristal grande al anillo de la cara central del
artefacto de iluminación.
33) Conecte el pequeño cristal al anillo en la parte inferior
de la ornamental.
