BRUNNEN- / AKZENTLAMPEN MONTAGE
DIE LAMPE EIGNET SICH NUR FÜR DIE BENUTZUNG IM FREIEN
1) Die Brunnen- oder Akzentlampe kann auf zwei verschiedenen
Arten eingebaut werden. .
A) Graben Sie eine 38 cm Vertiefung für eine direkte
Aufwärtsbeleuchtung.
B) Graben Sie eine 24 cm tiefe Mulde für eine
Wandbeleuchtung.
Die Abmessungen dieser Vertiefungen sind ausreichend, um die
Manschette und eine 15 cm hohe Lage von Feinkies für eine aus-
reichende Dränage aufzunehmen.
2) Füllen Sie eine 15 cm Lage Feinkies unten in die Vertiefung.
3) Setzen Sie die Manschette in die Vertiefung.
A) Direkte Aufwärtsbeleuchtung: Das abgewinkelte Ende zeigt
nach unten (nicht gezeigt).
B) Wandbeleuchtung: Das abgewinkelte Ende zeigt nach oben.
4) Am Bügel befinden sich Stellen, an die Gummiauflagen geklebt
werden sollen. Säubern Sie diese Stellen an beiden Seiten des
Bügels mit Brennspiritus, um Fett, Schmutz oder andere
Rückstände zu entfernen, die das Ankleben verhindern könnten.
5) Entfernen Sie die Papierstreifen von den Gummiauflagen und
kleben Sie die Gummiauflagen an den Bügel.
6) Gleiten Sie den O-Ring über den Lampenkörper in die O-Ring-
Rille nahe der Mitte des Akzentlampenkörpers.
7) Gleiten Sie den zweiten O-Ring in die O-Ring-Rille, die am
weitesten von der Mitte des Akzentlampenkörpers entfernt ist.
8) Installieren Sie eine MR16 Glühbirne (nicht eingeschlossen) in der
Fassung im Innern der Akzentlampe.
ANMERKUNG: Beim Zusammensetzen vorsichtig sein. Fassen
Sie die Lampe nur außen an. Die innere Glassmanschette NICHT
ANFASSEN. Sollte dies doch passieren, reinigen Sie die
Glühbirne mit Brennspiritus und einem flusenfreien Tuch.
9) Bringen Sie den äußeren Mantel mit der Linse an der
Akzentlampe an. Befestigen Sie den Mantel entweder mit der
vorhandenen Flügelschraube oder mit einer anti-Rowdy
Sicherheitsschraube. ANMERKUNG: Das Einsetzen und
Entfernen der anti-Rowdy Sicherheitsschraube erfordert einen
2,4 mm Inbusschlüssel (nicht einbegriffen).
10) Lockern Sie die Kreuzlochschraube im Bügel gerade soviel, daß
Sie den äußeren Mantel zwischen die Gummiauflagen schieben
können.
11) Befestigen Sie den äußeren Mantel durch Festdrehen der
Kreuzlochschrauben.
12) Führen Sie das Kabel vom Akzentlampenkörper unter der Manschette aufwärts zwischen
Manschette und Erdboden.
13) Gleiten Sie den Bügelhaken über den Bügelrand, um das Akzentlicht in seiner Position zu halten.
14) Füllen Sie die Zwischenräume um die Manschette herum mit Erde an.
15) Stellen Sie die elektrischen Verbindungen mithilfe von QUIC DISC
®
her.

6) Die Lampe von brennbaren Materialien fernhalten.
7) Ausschließlich mit der angegebenen Leistung (Wattzahl) für Glühkörper und Zubehör benutzen.
8) Die innere Glasmanschette der Lampe zu keiner Zeit anfassen. Benutzen Sie ein weiches Tuch. Kontakt mit fettiger Haut kann eine Lampe beschädigen.
9) Lampen mit beschädigter oder fehlender Linse nicht benutzen.

5) Non guardare direttamente la lampadina accesa.
6) Tenere la lampadina a distanza da materiale che potrebbe bruciare.
7) Usare solo con il wattaggio e la lampadina contrassegnati sull'attrezzo.
8) Non toccare mai la parte in vetro interna della lampadina. Usare un panno morbido. L'olio dell'epidermide potrebbe danneggiare la lampadina.

WELL / ACCENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
FIXTURE IS SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY.
1) Well / accent light can be installed two different ways.
A) If accent light is to be used for direct uplighting, dig hole 15” deep.
B) If accent light is to be used for wall washing, dig hole 9-1/2” deep.
These dimension will make hole deep enough to accommodate sleeve plus 6” of pea gravel
to insure proper drainage.
2) Fill bottom of hole with 6” of pea gravel.
3) Set sleeve (J) in hole.
A) Direct uplighting: Angled end down. (Not illustrated)
B) Wall washing: Angled end up. (Illustrated)
4) Using denatured alcohol clean both sides of yoke (B) where rubber pads (C) are to be taped.
Denatured alcohol will remove any oil, dirt or residue that may keep rubber pads from sticking.
5) Remove paper backing from rubber pads (C) and stick to yoke (B).
6) Slip O-ring (G) over accent body ( I ) and into O-ring (G) groove closest to center of accent
body ( I ).
7) Slip second O-ring (G) into O-ring groove (H) farthest from center of accent body ( I ).
8) Install MR16 lamp (not supplied) into socket inside accent body ( I ).
NOTE: Use caution when assembling. Hold lamp by outer housing. DO NOT touch glass
envelope inside. If this happens, clean bulb with denatured alcohol and a lint free cloth.
9) Assemble cowl (E) with lens (D) to accent body ( I ). Secure in place using either the provided
thumbscrew (F) or the vandal resistant screw. NOTE:: Vandal resistant screw requires a 3/32
hex key (Not Provided) for installation or removal.
10) Unscrew phillips head screws in yoke (B) enough to slip cowl (E) between rubber pads (C).
11) Tighten phillips head screws until cowl (C) is held securely in place.
12) Guide wire from accent body ( I ) under bottom of sleeve (J) and back up between sleeve (J)
and soil.
13) Slip yoke hook (A) over edge of sleeve (J) to support accent light ( I ).
14) Fill gaps surrounding outside of sleeve (J) with soil.
15) Make wire connections using QUIC DISC
®

ENSAMBLE DE ACENTO/CONCAVIDAD
EL ARTEFACTO ES ADECUADO SOLO PARA USO AL AIRE LIBRE.
1) La luz de acento / concavidad se puede instalar de dos maneras diferentes.
A) Si la luz de acento se usa para iluminación hacia arriba directa, cave un agujero de 15”
de profundidad.
B) Si la luz de acento se usa para iluminación beñando la pared, cave un agujero de 9-
1/2” de profundidad.
Estas dimensiones harán el agujero sufieientemente profundo para acomodar la camisa más 6”
de gravilla para asegurar un drenagje adecuado.
2) Llene el fondo del agujero con 6” de gravilla.
3) Ponga la camisa en el agujero.
A) Dirija la luz hacia arriba: el extremo en ángulo hacia abajo. (No se ilustra).
B) Iluminación bañando la pared: el extremo en ángulo hacia arriba. (Ilustrado).
4) Usando alochol desnaturalizado limpie ambos lados de la horquilla (B) donde se deben de
pegar con cinta las almohadillas de goma (C). El alcohol desnaturalizado quita todo el aceite,
suciedad o los residuos que pueden impedir que se peguen las almohadillas.
5) Quite el forro de papel de las almohadillas de goma (C) y pegue a la horquilla (B).
6) Deslice el anillo en O (G) sobre el cuerpo de acento ( I ) y en la ranura de anillo en O (G) más
cercana al centro del cuerpo de acento ( I ).
7) Deslice el segundo anillo en O (G) en la ranura de anillo en O (G) más alejada del centro del
cuerpo de acento ( I ).
8) Instale la lámpara MR16 (no suministrada) en el portalámparas, adentro del cuerpo de acento ( I ).
NOTA: tenga cuidado al ensamblar. Sostenga la lámpara por la cubierta exterior. NO toque
adentro del vidrio que envuelve. Si sucede esto, limpie la bombilla con alcohol desnaturalizado
y un paño sin pelusas.
9) Monte la capucha (E) con lente (D) al cuerpo de acento ( I ). Sujete en el lugar usando el tornillo
de apriete manual (F) o el tornillo resistente al vandalismo que se provee. NOTA: El tornillo
resistente al vandalismo requiere una llave hexagonal de 3/32 (no se provee) para la instalación
o retiro.
10) Destornille los tornillos con cabeza de cruz en la horquilla (B), lo suficiente para deslizar la
capucha (E) entre las almohadillas de goma.
11) Apriete los tornillos con cabeza de cruz hasta que la capucha (E) se sostenga asegurada
en el lugar.
12) Guíe el alambre del cuerpo de acento ( I ), adebajo de la parte inferior de la camisa y atrás
hacia arriba, entre la camisa (J) y el suelo.
13) Deslice el gancho (A) de la horquilla (B) sobre el borde de la camisa para apoyar la luz de
acento.
14) Llene los espacios que rodean afuera de la camisa (J) con el suelo.
15) Haga las conexiones de los alambres usando el QUIC DISC
®

ASSEMBLAGE DE L’APPAREIL D’ECLAIRAGE D’ACCENTUATION/EN PUITS
APPAREIL CONÇU UNIQUEMENT POUR L’EXTERIEUR
1) L’appareil d’éclairage d’accentuation/en puits peut s’installer de deux façons différentes.
A) Si l’appareil d’éclairage est utilisé pour un éclairage vers le haut, percer un trou de 38 cm (15 po).
B) Si l’appareil d’éclairage est utilisé pour balayer le mur, percer un trou de 25 cm (9 1/2 po).
Les trous doivent être assez profonds pour installer le manchon ainsi qu’une couche de gravier de
15 cm (6 po) afin de permettre un drainage adéquat.
2) Remplir le trou avec une couche de gravier fin de 15 cm (6 po).
3) Placer le manchon dans le trou.
A) Eéclairage direct: extrémité oblique dirigée vers le bas (non illustré)
B) Balayage de mur: extrémité oblique dirigée vers le haut (illustré)
4) À l’aide d’alcool dénaturé, nettoyer les deux côtes du collet où les coussinets de caoutchouc seront
collés. L’alcool dénaturé éliminera toute trace d’huile, impureté ou résidu qui peuvent les empêcher
d’adhérer.
5) Enlever la protection en papier des coussinets de caoutchouc et placer ces derniers sur le collet.
6) Glisser le joint torique par-dessus le corps de l’appareil d’éclairage et dans la rainure, le plus près
possible du centre du corps de l’appareil.
7) Glisser le deuxième joint torique dans la rainure, le plus loin possible du centre du corps de l’appareil.
8) Visser la lampe MR16 (fournie) dans la douille.
REMARQUE: prendre des précautions lors de l’installation de la lampe. Tenir la lampe par l’ex-
térieur. NE PAS toucher l’intérieur du verre. Si cela se produit, nettoyer l’ampoule avec de l’alcool
dénaturé et un chiffon non pelucheux.
9) Assembler le chapeau (E) au verre diffuseur. Bloquer avec la vis à ailettes fournie ou avec la vis
anti-vandalisme. REMARQUE : Pour visser ou dévisser la vis anti-vandalisme, utiliser une clé pour
vis à tête hexagonale 3/32 (non fournie).
10) Dévisser suffisamment les vis Philips dans le collet pour faire glisser le capot (E) entre les
coussinets de caoutchouc (C).
11) Visser les vis Philips jusqu’ à ce que le capot (E) soit bloqué.
12) Passer d’abord les fils sous le corps de l’appareil d’accentuation ( I ), puis sous le fond du man-
chon (J) et finalement vers le haut entre le manchon (J) et le puits.
13) Glisser le crochet (A) du collet sur les bords du manchon (J) pour supporter l’appareil.
14) Remplir les espaces autour du manchon (J) avec de la terre.
15) Effectuer les connexions du câble à l’aide dún QUIC DISC
®

MONTAGGIO DI UNITÀ PER FONTANE/DECORATIVE
LE UNITÀ SONO ADEGUATE SOLO PER ESTERNI.
1) Le unità per fontane/decorative può essere installata in due modi.
A) Se vengono usate per l'illuminazione diretta verso l'alto, scavare il buco nel terreno con una pro
fondità di 15 pollici.
B) Se vengono usate per l'installazione a filo sulla parete, scavare il buco nel terreno con una pro
fondità di 9,5 pollici.
Queste dimensioni allargano il buco quanto basta per l'inserimento del manicotto più 6 pollici di ghi-
aia, per garantire un giusto drenaggio.
2) Riempire il fondo del buco con 6 pollici di ghiaia.
3) Infilare il manicotto nel buco.
A) Illuminazione diretta verso l'alto: estremità angolata in basso (non in figura)
B) Installazione a filo sulla parete: estremità angolata in alto (in figura)
4) Usando alcool denaturato, pulire entrambi i lati della forcella, nel punto in cui verranno fissati i cus-
cinetti in gomma. L'alcool denaturato elimina tracce di olio e sporco o tracce the potrebbero
impedire l'adesione dei cuscinetti in gomma.
5) Togliere dai cuscinetti in gomma la parte posteriore in gomma e farli aderire alla forcella.
6) Far scivolare l'O-ring sulla parte decorativa e sulla scanalatura dell'O-ring più vicina al centro della
parte decorativa.
7) Far scorrere il secondo O-ring nella scanalatura più lontana dal centro della parte
decorativa.
8) Installare la lampadina MR16 (non in dotazione) nel portalampada all'interno della parte decorativa.
NOTA: prestare attenzione durante l'installazione. Tenere la lampadina dall'alloggiamento esterno.
NON toccare la parte interna in vetro. Se la si tocca inavvertitamente, pulirla con alcool denaturato
ed un panno senza filaccia.
9) Montare la mascherina con la lente sulla parte decorativa. Fissarla in posizione con la vite ad alette
in dotazione oppure la vite antivandalismo. NOTA: la vite antivandalismo richiede una chiave esag-
onale 3/32 (non in dotazione) per l'installazione o la rimozione.
10) Svitare le viti Phillips nella forcella quanto basta per far scorrere la mascherina tra i cuscinetti in
gomma.
11) Serrare le viti Phillips fin quando la mascherina non viene fissata in posizione.
12) Guidare il filo dalla parte decorativa sotto il fondo del manicotto e quindi nuovamente tra il mani-
cotto ed il terreno.
13) Far scorrere il gancio della forcella sul bordo del manicotto per sostenere la lampada decorativa.
14) Riempire di terreno gli spazi intorno al manicotto.
15) Effettuare i collegamenti dei fili usando QUIC DISC

4) Fixture shall not use a tungsten halogen lamp unless the fixture is marked for use with such lamps.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Turn off power.
The full length of the 18 GA fixture wire may be used to connect with the 10 GA or 12 GA cable provided the following conditions are met:
• Wiring is to be protected by routing close to the fixture or accessory or secured to a building structure such as house or deck.
• 18 GA fixture wiring is to be cut off so that it is attached to the connector within 6 inches of the fixture or building structure.
• If it is necessary to make the connections underground, then no more than 6 inches of the 18 GA fixture wire is to be buried.

Place the 10 gauge supply wire across the area marked 10 GA on Quic Disc
