Matrix MP150

Description

The Matrix MP150 mono power amplifier illustrates that originality consist of returning
to the origin. This amplifier has a very solid and compact design, which is almost
totally made out of aluminium. In the design process the form and function of this
amplifier are matched in perfect harmony.

The MP150 is the perfect solution for an integrated design in the active version of the
Matrix speaker line. However this MP150 can also be easily combined with other
stereo sets, where the presence of the musicality is the greatest gain. An additional
advantage is the modest size of this amplifier.

Features

The Matrix MP150 amplifier is a proprietary switching amplifier. It uses a unique pulse
control scheme that takes feedback only from the speaker terminals. There is no
feedback loop from the switching output used. The result is extremely low output
impedance over the entire bandwidth. Damping factor is >400 up to 2 kHz and >100
at 20 kHz. The frequency response is 1 Hz-50 kHz (+0,-3dB) and is completely
independent of the load impedance. THD and IMD are very low (<0.02%) and
completely independent of frequency, like a good zero-feedback amplifier.
