INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARE THE WINDOW
Lower s ash must open sufficiently t o all ow a cl ear ve rti cal o pening of 13 inche s (330mm). Sid e l ouvers and the rear of the AC must h ave clear air sp ace to allow enough airflow throu gh t he conde n ser, f or heat re moval . T he rear o f t he uni t must be outdoor s, no t insid e a building or garage.

INSTALL THE ACCORDION PANEL S
NOTE : Top r ai l a nd Sliding Panels at each s ide are
offset to provi de the prop er p itc h to the rear of (5 /16 ). This i s n ecessary for pro per c ond ensed w ater utilization and dr ai nage. If you a re not u sing t he Si de Panels for any reaso n, this pitc h to the rea r mus t b e maintained.

th e cabinet , make sure it sits securel y inside the frame c hanne l by making slight adjus t ment s . Sl ide the top and b o ttom ends of the frame i nto the to p an d bottom rails of the cabinet. Fig.3.
SECUR E THE ACCORDION PANELS
A.Keep a fir m grip on the air conditio ner, c arefully place the u n it into th e win dow openi ng so the bottom of the air co nditi oner fra m e is agains t the windo w si ll (Fig.5). Ca refu lly clos e the window behind th e top ra il of the u n it .

INSTALL SUPPORT BRACKET
A.P lace the frame lock b etween the frame extensions a nd t he wi ndow sill as shown(Fi g.7) . Drive 3 / 4 (1 9mm)or 1 loc k ing screws through the frame lock and i nto the sill .
NOTE
1 / 8" (3mm ) pilot hol es before driving sc rews.

If S torm W indow Frame mu st rem ain, be sure th e drain holes or s lots are not caulked or painted shut. Accu mula t ed R ain Wa ter or Condensation m u st be allo wed to drain out.
Remov ing AC Fr om Window
Turn AC off, a nd di sconn e ct p ower cord.
Remov e sash seal from betwee n win dows, and unscrew safe ty sash loc k . Remov e screws insta lle d through fra me and frame­lock. Close ( slide ) side p anels int o f rame. Keeping a firm grip on air con ditioner, rai se sa sh and car ef ully remove. Be c arefully not to spill any rem aining water wh ile li fting uni t f rom window. Sto re p arts WITH air conditi oner.
