Electrical Information

The manufactures nameplate is located on the rear panel of the unit and contains electrical and other technical data specific to this unit. Be sure the unit is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. Your unit must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation. Do not use extension cords or an adapter plugs with this unit. However, if it is necessary to use an extension cord, use an approved Dehumidifier extension cord only (available at most local hardware stores). To avoid the possibility of personal injury, always disconnect the power supply to the unit, before installing and/or servicing.

Control pads

When you push the button to change operation modes, the unit will make a beep sound to indicate that it is changing modes.

Pump Pad

Press to activate the pump operation. NOTE: Make sure the pump drain hose is installed into the unit and the continuous drain hose is removed from the unit before the pump operation is activated. When the bucket is full,the pump starts to work.Refer to the next pages for removing the collected water. Do not use this operation when the outdoor temperature is equel to or less than 0 C (32 F).

Filter Pad

The check filter feature is a reminder to clean the Air Filter for more efficient operation. The Filter light(Clean filter l ight) will illuminate after 250 hours of operation. To reset after cleaning the filter, press the Filter pad and the light will go off.

Fan Pad

Control the fan speed. Press to select either High or Normal fan speed. Set the fan control to High for maximum moisture removal. When the humidity has been reduced and quiet operation is preferred, set the fan control to Normal.

Press to turn the dehumidifier on and off.

Humidity Set Control Pads

The humidity level can be set within a range of 35%RH(Relative Humidity) to 85%RH(Relative Humidity) in 5% increments. For drier air, press the pad and set to a lower percent value(%). For damper air, press the pad and set a higher percent value(%).

TIMER Set Control Pads

Use the Up/Down pads to set the Auto start and Auto stop time from 0.0 to 24.

Continuous Operation

To run the unit in continuous mode, press the pad until the display reads 35% RH. Then press the pad again until the display reads CO for continuous operation. To stop continuous operation, press the and set the desired % RH set point level to resume nominal operation.

Press to initiate the Auto start and Auto stop feature, in conjuction with the and pads.

Display

Shows the set % humidity level from 35% to 85% or auto start/stop time (0~24) while setting, then shows the actual ( 5% accuracy) room % humidity level in a range of 30% RH(Relative Humidity) to 90%RH(Relative Humidity).

Error Codes and Protection Code: AS- Humidity sensor error--Unplug the unit and plug it back

Glows when the bucket is ready to be emptied.

Auto Shut Off

The dehumidifier shuts off when the bucket is full, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper position.When the setting humidity is reached, the unit will be shut off automatically. For some models,the fan motor will continue operating.

Auto Defrost

When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle off and the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears.

Wait 3 minutes before resuming operation

After the unit has stopped, it can not be restart opertation in the first 3 minutes. This is to protect the unit. Operation will automatically start after 3 minutes.

Check filter feature

The system starts to count the time once the fan motor operates. The check filter feature can be only activated when the accumulated operation time achieves 250 hours or more. The Reset light(Clean filter indicator light) flashes at one time per second, after finishing clean the air filter, press the Filter pad and the Reset light(Clean filter indicator light) goes off.

Auto-Restart

If the unit breaks off unexpectedly due to the power cut, it will restart with the previous function setting automatically when the power resumes.

E3- Unit malfunction-- Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.

Eb- Bucket is removed or not in right position-- Replace the bucket in the right position.

Setting the Timer

When the unit is on, first press the Timer button, the Timer Off indicator light illuminates. It indicates the Auto Stop program is initiated. Press it again the Time On indecator light illuminates.It indicates the Auto Start is initiated.

When the unit is off, first press the Timer button, the TIMER ON indicator light illuminates. It indicates the Auto Start program is initiated. Press it again the Time Off indecator light illuminates.It indicates the Auto Stop is initiated. Press or hold the UP or DOWN pad to change the Auto time by 0.5 hour incre ments, up to 10 hours, then at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. The control will count down the time remaining until start. The selected time will register in 5 seconds and the system will automatically revert back to display the previous humidity setting. When the Auto start & Auto stop times are set, within the same program sequence, TIMER ON OFF indicator lights illuminate identifying both ON and OFF times are now programmed. Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time or adjusting the timer setting to 0.0 will cancel the Auto Start/Stop function. When LED display window displays the code of P2, the Auto Start/Stop function will also be cancelled.

OPERATING THE UNIT

Positioning the unit

A dehumidifier operating in a basement will have little or no effect in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.

Do not use outdoors. This dehumidifer is intended for indoor residential applications only. This dehumidifier should not be used

for commercial or industrial applications. Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor strong enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water. Allow at least 20cm of air space on all sides of the unit for good air circulation. Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not fall below 5 C(41 F). The coils can become covered with

frost at temperatures below 5 C(41 F), which may reduce performance. Place the unit away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator. Use the unit to prevent moisture damage anywhere books or valuables are stored. Use the dehumidifier in a basement to help prevent moisture damage. The dehumidifier must be operated in an enclosed area to be most effective. Close all doors, windows and other outside openings

When using the unit

When first using the dehumidifier, operate the unit continuously 24 hours.

This unit is designed to operate with a working environment between 5C/41 F and 35C/95 F. If the unit has been switched off and needs to be switched on again quickly, allow approximately three minutes for the correct operation to resume. Do not connect the dehumidifier to a multiple socket outlet, which is also being used for other electrical appliances. Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet. Plug the unit into a electrical socket-outlet with earth connection. Make sure the Water bucket is correctly fitted otherwise the unit will not operate properly.

NOTE:When the water in the bucket reaches to a certain

level,please be careful to move the machine to avoid it falling down.

OPERATING THE UNIT

Removing the collected water

There are three ways to remove collected water.

1. Use the bucket

When the unit is off,if the bucket is full, the Full indicator light will light. When the unit is on,if the bucket is full, the compressor and the fan turn off, and the Full indicator light will light, the digital display shows P2. Slowly pull out the bucket. Grip the left and right handles securely, and carefully pull out straight so water does not spill. Do not put the bucket on the floor because the bottom of the bucket is uneven. Otherwise the bucket will fall and cause the water to spill. Throw away the water and replace the bucket. The bucket must be in right place and securely seated for the dehumidifier to operate. The machine will re-start when the bucket is restored in its correct position.

NOTES:

When you remove the bucket, do not touch any parts inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the product. Be sure to push the bucket gently all the way into the unit. Banging the bucket against anything or failing to push it in securely may cause the unit not to operate. If the pump hose drops when you remove the bucket (see Fig.7),you must reinstall the pump hose properly to the unit before replace the bucket into the unit (see Fig.8). When you remove the bucket,if there is some water in the unit you must dry it. When the unit is on, if the bucket is removed, the compressor and the fan turn off, then the unit will beep 8 times and the digital display shows Eb. When the unit is off, if the bucket is removed, the unit will beep 8 times and the digital display shows Eb.

2. Continuous draining

Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching the unit with a water hose (Id 5/16 , not included))with a female threaded end (ID:M=1 ,not included).

Install the drain hose onto the adaptor A (See Fig.9,

placed in the bucket). Remove the plastic cover from the back drain outlet of the unit and set aside and remove bucket,then insert the drain hose through the drain outlet of the unit and securely press it into the connector on the front of the unit.(See Fig.10 and Fig.11) Tighten the adaptor A and the unit by using two screws (placed in the bucket). Install the female threaded end of the water hose into the adaptor A.(See.Fig.12),then lead the water hose to the floor drain or a suitable drainage facility. Make sure the hose is secure so there are no leaks.

Direct the hose toward the drain,making sure that there are no kinks that will stop the warter flowing.

1. Pull out the bucket a little.

2. Hold both sides of the bucket with even strength, and pull it out from the unit.

3. Pour the water out.

Removing the collected water

Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure the end of the hose is level or down to let the water flow smoothly. Do never let it up. Place the bucket back in the unit and make sure that it is located correctly. Select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit for continuous draining to start.

NOTE: When the continuous draining feature is not being used, remove the drain hose from the outlet.

3. Pump draining

Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain or a suitable drainage facility by attaching the pump drain out with a pump drain hose ( od=1/4 , supplied).

Remove the continuous drain hose and the drain hose subassembly from the unit. Install the plastic cover to the continuous drain hose outlet of the unit by using two screws.(See Fig.13)

Resert the pump drain hose into the pump drain hose outlet for depth of 15mm at least (See Fig.14), then lead the water hose to the floor drain or a suitable drainage facility. Press the pump pad of the unit to activated the pump operation. When the bucket is full the pump starts to work. NOTE: The pump may cause big noise when it starts to work for 3~5 minutes. It is a normal phenomenon. Make sure the hose is secure so there are no leaks.

Direct the hose toward the drain,making sure that there are no kinks that will stop the warter flowing. Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure the end of the hose is level or down to let the water flow smoothly.Do never let it up. Select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit for pump draining to start.

NOTE: The pump operation on light blinks at 1Hz when the pump is operational failure. Please turn off the unit and plug the power cord out. Check the following things:

Cleaning the filter of the pump.

-Remove the bucket from the unit, take down the pump and clean the filter of the pump (See Fig.15).

Check that the pump drain hose does not link or block. Empty the water of the bucket. Reinstall the pump hose if it drops and reinstall the bucket properly. Turn on the unit. If the error repeats, call for service.

NOTE: Do not use this operation when the outdoor temperature is equal to or less than 0 C (32 F), otherwise water is become ice that will cause the water hose blocked up and the unit failure. Make sure to empty the bucket once a week when using the pump draining feature. When the pump draining feature is not being used, remove the pump drain hose from the outlet.

out from it (See Fig.16). Make sure do not let the water in the pump hose drip to the floor.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Care and cleaning of the dehumidifier

Turn the dehumidifier off and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.

1. Clean the Grille and Case

Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives. Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing so may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust. The air intake and outlet grilles get soiled easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.

2. Clean the bucket

Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially fill the bucket with clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse. NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the bucket. After clean, the bucket must be in place and securely seated for the dehumidifier to operate.

3. Clean the air filter

Remove the filter every two weeks based on normal operating conditions. Remove the filter from the top of the unit (See Fig.17), or to remove the filter,remove Bucket then pull filter downwards (See Fig.18). Wash the filter with clean water then dry. Re-install the filter,replace Bucket.

CAUTION:

DO NOT operate the dehumidifier without a filter because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.

4. When not using the unit for long time periods

After turning off the unit, wait one day before emptying the bucket. Clean the main unit, water bucket and air filter.

Wrap the cord and bundle it with the band (See Fig.19) .

Cover the unit with a plastic bag. Store the unit upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Before calling for service, review the chart below first yourself.

Problem

Unit does not start

Dehumidifier does not dry the air as it should

, Make sure the dehumidifier s plug is pushed completely into the

outlet. Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box. Dehumidifier has reached its preset level or bucket is full. Water bucket is not in the proper position.

Did not allow enough time to remove the moisture. Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front or back of the dehumidifier. The humidity control may not be set low enough. Check that all doors, windows and other openings are securely closed. Room temperature is too low, below 5 C(41 F). There is a kerosene heater or something giving off water vapor in the room.

What to check

The unit makes a loud noise when operating

Frost appears on the coils

Water on floor

ES, AS,P2,EC ,Eb and E3 appear in the display

The pump operation on light blinks at 1Hz

The air filter is clogged. The unit is tilted instead of upright as it should be. The floor surface is not level.

This is normal. The dehumidifier has Auto defrost feature.

Hose to connector or hose connection may be loose. Intend to use the bucket to collect water, but the back drain plug is removed.

These are error codes and protection code. See the CONTROL PADS ON THE DEHUMIDIFIER section.

Clean the filter of the pump. Check the pump hose does not link or block. Empty the water of the bucket.

Información eléctrica

Asegúrese de que la unidad tenga una buena conexión a tierra. Para minimizar los riesgos de choques o incendios, una correcta conexión a tierra es de suma importancia. El cable de alimentación está equipado con un enchufe a tierra de tres patas para protección contra peligros de choques eléctricos. La unidad debe utilizarse con un tomacorriente de la pared con conexión a tierra apropiada. Si el tomacorriente de la pared que desea utilizar no tiene una conexión a tierra adecuada o no está protegido por un fusible de retardo o disyuntor, haga que un electricista calificado instale el tomacorriente apropiado. Asegúrese de que el tomacorriente sea accesible luego de la instalación de la unidad. No use alargadores o adaptadores con esta unidad. Sin embargo, si es necesario utilizar un alargador, utilice uno aprobado para el deshumidificador (disponible en la mayoría de las casas de artículos de electricidad). Cuando oprime el botón para cambiar los modos de funcionamiento, la unidad emitirá un pitido para indicar que está cambiando los modos.

Presione para activar el funcionamiento de la bomba. NOTA: Asegúrese de que la manguera de drenaje de la bomba esté instalada en la unidad y de que la manguera de drenaje continua no esté en la unidad antes de activar el funcionamiento de la bomba. Cuando el recipiente esté lleno, la bomba comienza a funcionar. Consulte las siguientes páginas para obtener más información sobre cómo quitar el agua recolectada. Apagado automático

El deshumidificador se apaga cuando el recipiente está lleno o cuando no está en su lugar. Cuando se alcanza el límite de humedad, la unidad se apagará automáticamente.

Descongelamiento automático

Cuando se crea escarcha en las bobinas del evaporador, el compresor apagará el ciclo y el ventilador continuará funcionando hasta que la escarcha desaparezca.

Espere 3 minutos antes de restablecer el funcionamiento

Una vez que la unidad se detuvo, no podrá volver a funcionar en los próximos 3 minutos. Esto es proteger la unidad. El funcionamiento se restablecerá luego de los 3 minutos.

Función revisar el filtro

El sistema comienza a contar el tiempo una vez que el motor del ventilador comienza a funcionar. La característica para verificar el filtro solo puede activarse cuando el tiempo de funcionamiento acumulado alcanza 250 horas o más. La luz de reinicio (luz indicadora Limpiar filtro) parpadea una vez por segundo, una vez que la limpieza del filtro finaliza, presione la tecla Filtro y la luz de reinicio (luz indicadora Limpiar filtro) se apagará.

Reinicio automático

Si la unidad se apaga inesperadamente debido a un corte de luz, se reiniciará automáticamente con la configuración de función previa cuando vuelva la energía.

Configuración del Temporizador

Cuando la unidad esté encendida, primero presione el botón Temporizador, la luz indicadora de Temporizador apagado se ilumina. Indica que el programa de apagado automático se inicia. Vuelva a presionarlo y la luz de Encendido automático de ilumina. Indica que el Encendido automático está encendido.

Cuando la unidad está apagada, presione el botón Cronómetro, se iluminará la luz del indicador CRONÓMETRO ENCENDIDO. Vuelva a presionar el botón y se iluminará la luz Cronómetro Apagado. Indica que se ha iniciado la función apagado automático.

Presione o mantenga presionada la tecla ARRIBA o ABAJO para cambiar el tiempo Auto en incrementos de 0.5 horas hasta 10 horas, luego en incrementos de 1 hora hasta 24 horas. El control hará una cuenta regresiva del tiempo restante hasta el momento del inicio.

El tiempo seleccionado se registrará en 5 segundos y el sistema volverá automáticamente a la configuración de humedad previa.

Cuando se configuran los tiempos de Encendido automático y de Apagado automático, dentro de la misma secuencia de programa, las luces indicadoras de TEMPORIZADOR ENCENDIDO APAGADO se iluminará para identificar que ambos tiempos de ENCENDIDO y APAGADO están programados.

Encender y apagar la unidad en cualquier momento o cambiar la configuración del temporizador a 0.0 cancelará la función de Encendido/Apagado automático.

Cuando la pantalla LED muestra el código P2, la función de Encendido/Apagado automático también se cancelará.

OPERACIÓN DE LA UNIDAD

Ubicación de la unidad

Un deshumificador que funciona en un sótano no tendrá efecto o será pequeño en secar un área de almacenamiento adyacente continua, tal como un armario, a menos que exista una circulación de aire adecuada dentro y fuera del área.

No utilice exteriores. Este deshumificador es solo para uso interior en

hogares. Este deshumificador no debe utilizarse para comercios o industrias. Coloque este deshumificador en un piso nivelado, suave y resistente para soportar la unidad con un recipiente de agua cargado. Deje al menos un espacio de aire de 20 cm. a cada lado de la unidad para una buena circulación de aire. Coloque la unidad en un área en donde la temperatura no sea inferior a 5° C (41° F). Las bobinas se pueden cubrir con hielo en temperaturas menores a los 5° C (41° F), lo que puede reducir el rendimiento. Coloque la unidad alejada de secadores de ropa, calentadores o radiadores. Utilice la unidad para prevenir daño por humedad en libros o valores almacenados. Utilice el deshumificador en un sótano para prevenir daño por humedad. El deshumificador se debe poner en funcionamiento en un área cerrada para que la efectividad sea mayor. Cierre todas las puertas, ventanas y otras aberturas al exterior de la sala.

OPERACIÓN DE LA UNIDAD

Retirar el agua recolectada

Existen tres maneras para retirar el agua recolectada.

1. Utilice el recipiente

Cuando la unidad está apagada, si el recipiente está

lleno, se iluminará la luz del indicador lleno. Cuando la unidad está encendida, si el recipiente está lleno, el compresor y el ventilador se apagarán y se iluminará la luz del indicador lleno. Despacio retire el recipiente. Agarre las manijas derecha e izquierda con fuerza y cuidadosamente retire en forma derecha para no salpicar agua. No coloque el recipiente sobre el piso ya que la parte inferior del mismo no está desnivelada. De otro modo el recipiente se caerá y salpicará agua. Tire el agua y vuelva a colocar el recipiente. El recipiente debe estar en el lugar correcto y asegurado para que el deshumificador funcione. La máquina se reiniciará cuando el recipiente esté en la posición correcta.

NOTAS:

Cuando retire el recipiente, no toque ninguna de las piezas dentro de la unidad. Hacerlo puede causar daños en el producto. Asegúrese de empujar suavemente el recipiente hacia el interior de la unidad. Si se golpea el recipiente contra algo o se cae puede que la unidad no funcione. Si la manguera de la bomba se cae mientras retira el recipiente (consulte Imagen 7), deberá volver a instalar la manguera de la bomba de forma correcta en la unidad antes de volver a colocar el recipiente en la unidad. (Consulte Imagen 8) Cuando retire el recipiente, si hay agua en la unidad debe secarla. Cuando la unidad está encendida, si se retira el recipiente, el compresor y el ventilador deben estar apagados, luego la unidad emitirá 8 sonidos y la pantalla digital mostrará Eb. Cuando la unidad está apagada, si se retira el recipiente, la unidad emitirá 8 sonidos y la pantalla digital mostrará Eb.

2. Drenaje continuo

El agua puede vaciarse de forma automática en el drenaje del piso o al adjuntar una manguera para agua a la unidad (Diam. Int. 5/16, no incluido) con un extremo hembra roscado (diam. int.: M=1, no incluido). Instale la manguera de drenaje en el adaptador A (consulte Imagen 9, coloque en el recipiente). Retire el cobertor de plástico de la salida trasera del drenaje de la unidad y reserve, retire el recipiente, luego inserte la manguera de drenaje en la salida del drenaje de la unidad y con firmeza presione el conector en la parte delantera de la unidad. (Consulte Imagen 10 e Imagen 11). Ajuste el adaptador A y la unidad utilizando dos tornillos (colocados en el recipiente). Instale el extreme roscado hembra de la manguera de agua en el adaptador A. (Consulte Imagen 12), luego direccione la manguera de agua hacia el drenaje del piso o drenaje correcto. Asegúrese de que la manguera esté asegurada para que no haya pérdidas. Direccione la manguera hacia el drenaje, asegúrese de que no haya enredos que impidan que el agua fluya.

Retirar el agua recolectada

Posicione el extremo de la manguera en el drenaje y asegúrese que esté al mismo nivel o por debajo para permitir que el agua fluya. Nunca permita que suba. Posicione el recipiente de nuevo en la unidad y asegúrese que la ubicación sea la correcta. Seleccione la configuración de humedad deseada y la velocidad

del ventilador en la unidad para que comience el drenaje continuo. NOTA: Cuando la función de drenaje continuo no se utiliza, retire la manguera de drenaje de la salida.

3. Drenaje de la bomba

El agua puede automáticamente descargarse en un drenaje en el piso o en un drenaje correcto al adjuntar a la salida de drenaje de la bomba una manguera (diam.ext. =1/4, incluido).

Retire la manguera de drenaje continuo y el subensamble de la

manguera del drenaje de la unidad. Instale el cobertor de plástico

en la salida de la manguera de drenaje continuo de la unidad

utilizando dos tornillos (consulte Imagen 13).

Vuelva a insertar la manguera de drenaje de la bomba en la salida

de la manguera de drenaje de la bomba a una profundidad de al

menos 15 mm (consulte Imagen 14), luego guie la manguera de

agua hacia el drenaje del piso o un drenaje correcto.

Presione el botón de la unidad para activar el funcionamiento de la

bomba. Cuando el recipiente se llena la bomba comienza a funcionar.

NOTA: La bomba puede realizar mucho ruido cuando comienza

a funcionar durante 3 a 5 minutos. Es un fenómeno normal.

Asegúrese de que la manguera esté asegurada para que no haya

pérdidas.

Direccione la manguera hacia el drenaje, asegúrese de que no

haya enredos que impidan que el agua fluya.

Coloque el extremo de la manguera en el drenaje y asegúrese

el extremo de la manguera está a nivel o por debajo para permitir

que el agua fluya.

Nunca permita que suba.

Seleccione la configuración de humedad deseada y la velocidad

del ventilador en la unidad para que comience el drenaje. NOTA: Las luces de funcionamiento de la bomba titilan a 1 Hz cuando hay una falla. Apague la unidad y desenchúfela. Revise lo siguiente:

Limpiar el filtro de la bomba. -Retire el recipiente de la unidad,

retire la bomba y limpie el filtro de la misma (consulte Imagen 15).

Revise que la manguera de drenaje de la bomba no se encuentre

entrelazada o bloqueada. Vacíe el agua del recipiente.

Reinstale la manguera de la bomba si se cae y vuelva a instalar

el recipiente de forma correcta.

Encienda la unidad. Si el error persiste, llame al servicio técnico.

NOTA: No ponga en funcionamiento la unidad si la temperatura

exterior es igual o menor a 0°C (32°F), de ser así el agua se

congela y causa obstrucciones en la manguera para agua y

fallas en la unidad. Asegúrese de vaciar el recipiente una vez por

semana utilizando la función de drenaje de la bomba. Cuando no

se utiliza la función de drenaje de la bombaretire la manguera del

drenaje de la bomba de la salida.

Presione hacia adentro la salida de la manguera de drenaje de la

bomba y retire de allí la manguera de drenaje de la bomba

(consulte Imagen 16). Asegúrese de no permitir que no caiga

agua desde la manguera de la bomba al piso

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Con cuidado limpie el deshumificador

Apague el deshumificador y desenchúfelo antes de la limpieza.

1. Limpie la rejilla y la carcasa

Utilice agua y detergente suave. No utilice cloro o abrasivos. No salpique agua directamente dentro de la unidad principal. Hacerlo puede causar descarga eléctrica, deterioro en el aislante u óxido en la unidad. Las rejillas de salida e ingreso de aire se llenan de desecho con facilidad, por lo tanto use una aspirados o cepillo para limpiar.

2. Limpiar el recipiente

Cada pocas semanas, limpie el recipiente para prevenir el crecimiento de hongos, moho y bacterias. Llene parcialmente el recipiente con agua limpia y agregue un poco de detergente suave. Remuévalo alrededor del recipiente, vacíe y enjuague.

NOTA: No utilice detergente para vajilla para limpiar el recipiente. Luego de la limpieza, el recipiente debe estar en el lugar correcto y asegurado para que el deshumificador funcione.

3. Limpiar el filtro de aire

Retire el filtro de aire cada dos semanas si funciona en condiciones normales. Retire el filtro de la parte superior de la unidad (consulte Imagen 17) o retire el filtro, retire el recipiente y luego jale el filtro hacia abajo (consulte Imagen 18). Limpie el filtro con agua limpia y séquelo. Vuelva a instalar el filtro, remplace el recipiente.

PRECAUCIÓN:

NO ponga en funcionamiento el deshumificador sin el filtro ya que los residuos y la suciedad pueden obstruir y reducir el rendimiento.

4. Cuando no utilice la unidad durante largos períodos de tiempo

Luego de apagar la unidad, espere un minuto antes de vaciar el recipiente. Limpie la unidad principal, el recipiente de agua y el filtro de aire. Envuelva el cable y átelo con la banda. (Consulte imagen 19) Cubra la unidad con una bolsa de plástico. Almacene la unidad derecha en un lugar seco y bien ventilado.

CONSEJOS PARA SOLUCIONAR PROBLEMAS

Asegúrese de que el enchufe del deshumificador se encuentre por completo dentro de en la salida. Revise la caja de fusibles/caja de interruptores. El deshumificador ha alcanzo el nivel presente o el recipiente está lleno. El recipiente de agua no se encuentra en la posición correcta.

No deje pasar mucho tiempo para retirar la humedad. Asegúrese de que no haya cortinas, persianas o muebles que obstruyan la parte delantera o trasera del deshumificador. El control de humedad no debe ser configurado muy bajo. Revise que todas las puertas, ventanas y otras aberturas se encuentren cerradas. La temperatura de la sala es muy baja, por debajo de los 5°C (41°F). Hay un calentador a queroseno o algo que produce vapor en la sala.
