Situation:
After replacing the third converter board, errors such as
607, Media could be corrupt, EEPROM TCONV_TEM_COEF_CAL_FILE. . 605, Data corrupt or stale, RAM copy of TCONV_TEM_COEF_CAL_FILE. . 607, Media could be corrupt, EEPROM TCONV_321_AMP_CAL_FILE. . 605, Data corrupt or stale, RAM copy of TCONV_321_AMP_CAL_FILE. . 607, Media could be corrupt, EEPROM TCONV_HIGHBAND_CAL_FILE. . 605, Data corrupt or stale, RAM copy of TCONV_HIGHBAND_CAL_FILE. . 607, Media could be corrupt, EEPROM TCONV_EXTMIX_CAL_FILE.
605, Data corrupt or stale, RAM copy of TCONV_EXTMIX_CAL_FILE
may appear that cannot be cleared by running PSA adjustments or power-on alignments.
These errors are related to calibration files on the third converter board not being initialized. There is a possibility that other replacement boards will show the same problem.
Solution/Action:
Go to the Agilent PSA Service Web Page,
http://mktwww.soco.agilent.com/field/service/signal/psa/, and click on the “Cu rrent Probl em s
link. There you will find a brief description of this issue as well as a Vee Program which, when run, will initialize all the calibration values on the Third Converter board and clear the above error messages. If 607 errors appear after the replacement of any other board besides the third
converter board and cannot be cleared by running the PSA cal software or th e po we r-on alignments, return the board and exchange it for a new one.
