Situation:
Instruments le av in g th e fa ct or y ca n fa il the low Fre qu ency Response spe cifi ca tion less than
50kHz. Manufacturing discovered a software problem where incorrect low frequency flatness
correction values were being loaded into the instrument memory.
Solution / Action:
Perform the Frequency Response test using the automated software (N2717A) or run the test
manually as per the ESA Calibration Guide. If the test fails, you will need to load new flatness
correction values into the analyzer by using the N2717A Performance Test Adjustment software
or sending the instrument into an Agilent Technologies customer service center. The instrument
will be adjusted at no charge.
