Situation:
1. If the value of resistive load is less than 0.4 ohm when the OCP crcuit is tripped, a
pulse current occurs in the output terminal. The pulse width is 10 msec, period is 30
sec and amplitude is the value of current limit setting.

2. If the value of resistive load is greater than 0.4 ohm when the OCP crcuit is tripped, the output voltage is 1 V and the output current is set by the Ohm’s law.
3. If clearing the OCP condition when setting the OCP trip level to 0.2 A, OCP function is not
operational.
4. When setting the OCP trip level to 0.2 A, OCP function is not operational intermittently.
Solution / Action:
1. Replace the programmed ROM with REV. 1.4. The part numbers are E3633-60034 for the
E3633A power supply and E3634-60034 for the E3634A power supply
2. Note that you have to recalibrate the power supply after changing the programmed ROM.
