Situation:
Symptoms of spurious bit errors and cell loss may occur if units with rev A01.00 (Series
90) or rev A.02.00 (Broadband Series) firmware are upgraded to rev A02.01 firmware.
Solution/Action:
Replace both E1693A and E1694A modules with exchange unit part numbers E169369001 and E1694-69001.
Procedure:
If the symptoms described occur:
1. Replace the E1693A and E1694A with exchange units.
2. Carry out performance test.
