Situation:
If the E1411B is set to an aperture of 10 uSec and the number of triggers (n) in
“TRIG:COUN n” is greater than 1, erroneous readings can be returned by the multimeter.
Also, if the trigger delay (x) in “TRIG:DEL x” is set to uSec, then the multimeter defaults
to the maximum delay of 16.7 seconds.

Solution:
The two conditions noted above are corrected by replacing the programmed EPROMs.
Modification can be performed at the next scheduled service or at customer’s convenience. If customer is operating, or intends to operate, the E1411B as described above,
modification should be performed as soon as possible.
Action:
CAUTION:
The EPROMs are static-sensitive devices. Perform the modification at an ESD safe work area!
Remove the top shield from the E1411B (7 screws, Torx T10).
On the E1411-66511 board, remove the E1326-88822 EPROM (U104) and replace it
with the E1326-88832 EPROM. Discard the old EPROM.
Next replace the E1411-88801 EPROM (U23) with the E1411-88811 EPROM. Discard
the old EPROM. Reassemble the E1411B.
