Individual Internal Tests Verify the Self Diagnosis Failure

Situation:

When {SELF DIAGNOSE} softkey is pressed to perform a series of internal tests, the fol­lowing tests may fail in spite of the normal operation:

25: RF PWR LVL ALC (LF)
26: RF PWR LVL ALC (HF)
27: RF AMP FREQ FLATNESS

Solution/Action:

If the above test failures are found in the “SELF DIAGNOSE” execution, perform each
individual test to verify the test results by the following procedure:

1. Press [SYSTEM] hardkey and {SERVICE MENU} {TESTS} softkeys.

2. Enter the test number by pressing [2] [5] [x1] hardkeys.

3. Execute the test by pressing {EXECUTE TEST} softkey.

4. Confirm the test result.
If the test result “PASSED” is displayed in the individual internal test, the 8751A
actually passes the test.
If the test result “FAILED” is displayed in the individual internal test, the 8751A
actually failed the test.

5. Execute the other individual tests, “26: RF PWR LVL ALC (HF)” and “28: RF

AMP FREQ FLATNESS”, and confirm the test results.
