Part Numbers For A1A10 YTMs (YIG Tuned Multipliers)
The part number for a replacement YTM is based on the instrument s model number, its
option configuration, its serial number, and whether you wish a new part or a restored part.
The list in this service note will help you consider these factors and determine the right part
number. The list contains YTM part numbers for all instruments in the 8673 family.
The YTM in your instrument has a part number on it. Do not automatically order this part
number. You might not get the correct replacement part for your instrument. Instead, you
should order the replacement part from the list in this service note. Here is why.
In the factory, the production line orders the part number that is on the YTM. Then, if
the instrument has pulse capability, the production line adds unique calibration data to an
EPROM for Pulse Amplitude Control.
