Situation:
DC power is supplied to certain modules for heating and battery charging while line power is
connected, even with power off. Connecting or disconnecting ribbon cables or modules
plugged into the motherboard with line power connected can result in electrical damage to
sensitive components in the instrument. It is recommended that instruments be unplugged
for any service requiring the disconnection of ribbon cables or modules plugged into the
motherboard.
