Situation:
This transformer, in the affected serial number range listed above, has demonstrated a potential reliability problem at the factory, and might blow the main line fuse (P/N 2110-0083) if a properly
grounded power cable is not used.
Solution / Action:
It is recommended that any transformer from a power supply that blows its line fuse in the affected instruments be replaced, and the old transformer be returned to the factory for analysis.
Warranty is extended for the fuse failure and associated transformer replacement until 1 May,
2000 on all instruments specified above.
