Situation:
If the spectrum anaylzer is in the EMC mode plus an active function is not pressed and the
RPG knob on the front panel is rotated, the 859xEM analyzer may display flickering in the
screen in 3 disctinct ways:
1. The entire display
2. The horizontal and vertical graticules
3. In 2 lines inside the grid (between column 8-9 and Row 1-2)
Solution/Action:
Please do not attempt to change any hardware assemblies for this problem. The defect
has been submitted as a firmware bug. As of 96.07.09 the firmware bug is still present
and changing the firmware (p/n 08591-60103) will not correct this problem.
