Situation:
The above model and serial numbers have an old design for J1 Molex connector on the old
A26 Rectifier Board which is not able to handle the total current requirement for the
85102A/B/R over its lifetime.
Agilent redesigned the A26 rectifier board, which includes the protection circuitry and new J1
Molex connector, enhancing the reliability.

Solution:
There are two methods to solve this problem:
1. Unplug J1 Molex connector from the old A26 Rectifier Board then solder each of the six
wires to its corresponding pin.
2. Order the retrofit kit (p/n. 85102-60778) which will replace the old A26 board with the
new redesigned A26 board.
