Installation and Operation
Before permanently securing the unit for nal installation, test for proper operation of the unit and cables in your system. It is recommended that you leave
enough ventilation space to provide sufcient airow
and cooling.
An optional HDMI cable clip (included) allows for a secure connection of HDMI cables to KD-1x2CSK/ KD-1x4CSK units and helps prevent intermittent or complete signal loss due to poor connectivity.
Active Input / Output LED Indicators
The front LED indicators indicate that a valid HDMIconnection is made between
the KD-1x2CSK/KD-1x4CSK unit and each Input / Output.
EDID Control Settings
At times, your HDMI sources and display may not synchronize properly. This is when EDID* control should be utilized. KD-1x2CSK/KD-1x4CSK Distribution Amps feature an internal library of default settings that ensure that your HDMI source’s output is compatible with the display devices.
Please reset the unit by either unplugging and plugging the HDMI connections, or via a power cycle for the new settings to take effect.
Optional HDMI Cable clip (included)
Rotary EDID Control Switch
