Replacing the Impeller
Press firmly on the sides of the black impeller housing with your thumbs to
remove the entire housing.
There is a small arrow icon on the new impeller’s housing. When inserting the
new impeller, be sure the arrow is facing the front, or display side, of the meter. If
your Kestrel has an arrow on the Kestrel unit (either at the 12:00 or 5:00 position),
align the arrow on the impeller with the arrow on the meter. If there is no arrow
on the Kestrel, make sure the arrow on the impeller is pointing to the top of the
meter (at the 12:00 position).
Press on the sides of the impeller housing rather than the center.
