WRR-22 RANGER® LONG-RANGE
wrr-22 long-range receiver
Ranger from Farpointe Data sets the electronic security benchmark for high frequency, long-range identification Receivers and Transmitters. Based upon proven contactless digital ultra high frequency (UHF) technology, the Ranger Receivers interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems by complying with the Wiegand communication protocol. They offer value-add features such as MAXSecure™ and up to 200 feet of read range (WRR-44). Additionally, Ranger Transmitters are active devices, powered by the most reliable and common battery, and equipped with a potted proximity or contactless smartcard module. The modules can be ordered to support several proximity reader technologies and allow the Transmitter to be used as a close-range credential.

3 Self evaluated.
4 Linear power supplies are recommended for best operation.
5 Receiver range covers a 360 -degree radius and does not need to be installed in line-of-sight to the Transmitters to function. Operation at the “up to”
read range stated should be reliable. However, environmental conditions, as well as the locations of the Transmitter and Receiver will affect re ad range.
6 For example, Belden 9540 or similar, wiring to a 6-Pin pluggable terminal block.
7 Supports t wo channels per Receiver, supporting exclusively Transmitter but tons 1 and 2.
