INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING BRACKET

DESCRIPTION (Refer to Figure 1)

The Kepco Models RAB 39-40FMP, RAB 39-40KRW, RAB 39-40MRW, RAB 39-40RKW3 and RAB 39-40RTW each
consist of a mounting bracket and associated hardware. They are used to mount Kepco Series FCP, FMP, KRW,
MRW, RKW (300W) or RTW power supplies to Kepco Model RA 39 and RA 40 Rack Adapters. (RKW 50, 100, 150
and 600 watt models require mounting bracket Model RAB 40-RKW6). The mounting bracket is identical for all mod­els, however different holes are used to mount the power supply to the bracket.

INSTRUCTIONS

RAB 39-40FMP This bracket can be used for either FCP or FMP power supplies. Attach FCP or FMP power supply

to mounting bracket using “D” holes and hardware indicated in Table 1 (see Table 2 and Figure 1 for location). Attach
mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “C” in Figure 1.

RAB 39-40MRW Attach MRW power supply to mounting bracket using “A” and “B” holes and hardware indicated in
Table 1 (see Table 2 and Figure 1 for location) and hardware supplied with RCW power supply. Attach mounting
bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “C” in Figure 1.

RAB 39-40KRW Attach KRW power supply to mounting bracket using “A” holes and hardware indicated in Table 1
(see Table 2 and Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “C” in Figure 1.

RAB 39-40RKW3 Attach RKW 300W power supply to mounting bracket using “A” holes and hardware indicated in

Table 1 (see Table 2 and Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “C” in
Figure 1.

RAB 39-40RTW Attach RTW 50, 100, 150 and 300W power supply to mounting bracket using “A” holes and hard­ware indicated in Table 1 (see Table 2 and Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using
holes marked “C” in Figure 1.

1. Series KRW requires case CA 29 (supplied separately) for mounting in RA 39 or RA 40 rack adapters.

3. Series MRW 160/161KV and MRW 170/171KV requires case CA 20 (supplied separately) for mounting in RA 39 or
RA 40 rack adapters.

4. Series RTW 50W, 100W, 150W requires factory-installed cover, indicated by a “C” suffix followIng the model number (e.g.,
RTW 5-30KC).

5. Series RTW 300W requires factory-installed cover (standard “C” suffix following the model number).
