INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING BRACKET

DESCRIPTION (Refer to Figure 1)

The Kepco Models RAB 39-40ERD, RAB 39-40FAW, RAB 39-40RCW, RAB 39-40RKW6 and RAB 40-RKE each
consist of a mounting bracket and associated hardware. They are used to mount Kepco Series ERD, FAW, RCW
(350 watt) and RKW (30 watt, 50 watt, 100 watt, 150 watt and 600 watt) power supplies to Kepco Model RA 39 and
RA 40 Rack Adapters. RAB 39-40RCW, and RAB 40-RKE are used to mount RCW 750W and RKW 1500W power
supplies to RA 40 Rack adapters. (RCW 1500 watt models require mounting bracket Model RAB 40-RCW1500;
RKW 300 watt models require mounting bracket Model RAB 39-40RKW3). The mounting bracket is identical for all
models, however different holes are used to mount the power supply to the bracket.

INSTRUCTIONS

RAB 39-40FAW Attach FAW power supply to mounting bracket using “A” holes and hardware indicated in Table 1

(see Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “D” in Figure 1.

RAB 39-40ERD Attach ERD power supply to mounting bracket using “B” holes and hardware indicated in Table 1

(see Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “D” in Figure 1.

RAB 39-40RCW Attach RCW power supply (350W or 750W) to mounting bracket using “C” holes and hardware
indicated in Table 1 (see Figure 1 for location) and hardware supplied with RCW power supply. Attach mounting
bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “D” in Figure 1. Note that RCW 750W mounts only to RA 40.

RAB 39-40RKW6 Attach RKW power supply to mounting bracket using “B” and “C” holes and hardware indicated in
Table 1 (see Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to rack adapter using holes marked “D” in Figure 1.

RAB 40-RKE Attach RKE 1500W power supply to mounting bracket using “B” holes and hardware indicated in Table
1 (see Figure 1 for location). Attach mounting bracket to RA 40 rack adapter using holes marked “D” in Figure 1.
