Water Source
Water in
Make sure that the rejected water pipe is not placed at a level higher from the purifier, otherwise reject water may flow backwards into the purifier.
Rejected Water
Drain
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and installation in damp areas.
Do not confine the purifier in a cabinet.
Avoid sharp bends in the pipe. Do not bend or block the reject water pipe.
In case the purifier is not going to be used for more than two days, then kindly switch off the power supply and drain the storage tank.
The maximum distance between the water source and the purifier should not be more than 3 meters.
Make sure that the purifier is connected to normal water supply only.
Do not try to service the purifier on your own. Instead, call service technician for help.
Use Genuine Kent spares for optimum performance
To keep the storage tank clean, it should be drained once in 15 days.

water. I n Rever se O smosi s, w ater pressur e,
appl ied to th e conce ntra ted sid e force s the
proce ss o f osmo sis into revers e. Under enoug h
press ure, purer water is "sq ueeze d" thr ough the
membr ane fro m the con centr ated s ide to th e
dilut ed sid e. Salts diss olved in water a s char ged
ions a re re pelle d by th e RO me mbran e. T he
rejec ted impur itie s on the conce ntra ted side of the membran e are washed away in a s trea m of
waste water and thus do no t get ac cumul ated as in a tradit ional filte r.
UV Process
UV li ght has shor ter wavelength (high er e nergy ) th an th e vi sible lig ht. It i s cal led ultra -viol et
becau se its wavelen gth i s shor ter than v iolet light in the ligh t spec trum . Techni call y, th e ultr a-
viole t light is defin ed to be any wavelength of li ght, which is shor ter than 400 nano mete r.
UV rays, which pen etra te into the micro -orga nisms , are abs orbed by the DNA of t he path ogen
in the wat er. The DNA is al tered in such a way tha t the pa thoge n canno t repro duce it self. Th us,
it is ess entia lly kil led and cannot cause in fecti on. T his pro cess of DNA mod ifica tion is ca lled
inact ivat ion.

1. Th e Wa rranty pe riod comm ences fro m the date of in stallat ion by th e fir st end -user. Dur ing this Warran ty p erio d of one year, KENT Pur ifie rs o r its Authori sed S ervice Pro vide r (ASP ) will rep lace or rep air any par t of KENT Pur ifie rs, that in the opini on o f K ENT Purifi ers or its ASP, w ould be defec tive in oper ation due to faul ty mate rial or w orkma nshi p (i. e. manu facturi ng defec ts) w ith the ex ceptio n of co nsu mabl es s uch as S edim ent Filt er, Ca rbo n F ilt er a nd RO/ UF Mem bra ne. Howev er, if the R O/U F M embr ane ge ts clog ged with in fir st one year a nd/or if th e filt ers get clogg ed with in first six mon ths, the y shal l be cleane d / repa ired / repl aced a t no extra cha rge.

UV Fail Alarm*
To ensure de livery of purer and healthie r wa ter, a micro-pro cessor is installe d in the purifier th at perfor ms the following funct ions: -
UV Stabi lization Dela y: To ensure th at the UV la mp is pre-h eated an d is worki ng at its opt imum level befo re it sta rts di sinfecting wa ter, t he controller p rovides a two seco nds delay to UV lam p when the purifi er is switche d on. During th is period, only the UV lamp is switc hed on and other ele ctrica l devices o f the purifier are switched off.
Purifi cation Delay: To ens ure tha t t he idle water lying in the inte rnal p ipes and in the UV cham ber is disinf ected before being passed into the storage tank, th e system provides 5 s econd delay when the purifi er is switch ed on. During th is time, the UV lamp kills all mi cro-organis ms that may be in the wa ter insid e UV chamb er. After this delay, all other electric al devices such as boos ter pum p and solenoi d valve are switch ed on to star t nor mal pu rification proce ss.

has an in-built feature that sounds an audible alarm if the UV lamp
malfunctions. This feature is provided to ensure purer water. This UV Fail Alarm will sound like following:
Two short beeps after every two seconds.
In case such an alar m is audible, kindly switch off the purifier and call the service technician for help. The purifier will stop its purification process in such a circumstance.

replacement time for filters. This alarm will be audible after
The Filter Change Alarm will sound like following:
4 short beeps after ever y two seconds; for 30 seconds. The alarm will repeat after every 2 hours of use.
In case such an alarm is audible, please call the service technician and request him to change the filters of the purifier. However, if the filters are not changed within the next 60 hours of operation, the purifier will stop functioning to ensure purity and hygiene. The following alarm will be audible after 60 Hrs.
A continuous beep for an infinite time.
In case, such an alarm is audible, kindly switch off the purifier and call the service technician to replace the filters. In such a circumstance, the purifier will not function unless the filter s are changed.

Fix the SS ball valve to the ¼ inch port of the 3-way connector as shown in the figure.
Conne ct the 3-way co nnector to the raw wa ter supp ly as shown i n the figur e. The threade d en d of the 3-way connecto r is fitt ed in line with the raw water s upply. Th e other e nd can be c onnec ted to a ta p or can be plugg ed off if n ot required .

Now connect o ne end of the white pipe to the SS b all valve and other end to the lower pushfit elbo w f itting on the left hand side of the purifier labeled as WATER I N ( Note : White pip e i s fo r ra w wa ter supply).

Wait for 2-3 minutes to ensure that the filters are soaked in water.
