UF Process

KENT Ultra- Filtra tion is a sepa ratio n proce ss that uses UF memb rane with pore size of

0.1–0 .01 micr on. This UF mem brane has th e capaci ty to remove co lloid al mater ials incl uding

bacte ria, cys t and even virus es from drin king wat er. Low applie d pressur e is therefo re

suffi cient to achieve high flux rates from an Ultra Filtrat ion membran e.

work manshi p under norma l usage and ser vice from the date of instal lation as under :

TDS Adjustment

We recommend keeping the TDS at lowest possible level but not below 50mg/l.

6. Conne ct one end o f b lue pipe t o upper elbow fitting connecto r labeled as REJEC T
WATER a nd lead the other end to drain .

7. Conne ct the puri fied water pipe to wate r coo ler.

8. Turn on the lever given on SS ball valve to initi ate the water flow to purifie r.

9. Allow the filters to pre-soak in water for 2-3 minute s.

10. Connect the power supply.

11. Installation is complete.

When the water c ooler’s stor age tank gets fil led up complete ly the

float in the cooler will cu t off th e R O pu rifie d w ater supply from

KENT Elite. This will further cr eate a wat er pr essur e. In turn the

high pres sure sens or instal led in the machin e will cut off the

elect ric sup ply to th e machi ne. The p urification o f KENT El ite wil l

autom atica lly start again as soon as the wate r level drops.

KENT Elite is designed to facilitat e wall moun ting as well as counter -top purifi catio n. It is easy and
conve nient to install.

Recom mende d Site Prep arati ons:

Singl e p hase 100-250 V AC, 50-60 Hz sup ply not more th an 3 m a way from the poi nt of
insta llati on.

Raw water supply with ½ inch nipple not more than 3m away.

Drain for reject water not more than 3m away.

Insta llati on space as per the dim ensio ns of the purifier.

For proper instal latio n, make sure that the purifier is mounted on a wall surfa ce. Avoid
insta llati on on woode n and metal lic stands.

For opti mum inlet pressure , s ource water t ank shou ld b e at least 10 ft a bove the pur ifier
insta lled.

Insta llati on Procedur e:

1. Screw in t wo 10x5 0 s elf taping scre ws, 234 mm apart
horiz ontal ly.

2. Wall-m ount the purif ier with the help of slot holes giv en on back
side.

3. Faste n the SS ball val ve to ¼ inch port of 3-way connector.

4. Attac h the thre aded end of 3-wa y con necto r to raw water supply
and plug off the other end or connec t to a tap.

Filter Change Alarm*

KENT Elite Mineral RO has an in-built feature that sounds an audible alarm to indicate replacement

time for filters. This alarm will be audible after

The Filter Change Alarm will sound as following:

4 short beeps after every two seconds; for 30 seconds. The alarm will repeat after every 2 hours of use.

In case such an alarm is audible, please call the service technician and request him to change the filters of the
purifier. However, if the filters are not changed within the next 60 hours of operation, the purifier will stop
functioning to ensure purity and hygiene. The following alarm will be audible after 60 Hrs.

A continuous beep for an infinite time.

In case, such an alarm is audible, kindly switch off the purifier and call the service technician to replace
the filters. In such a circumstance, the purifier will not function unless the filters are changed.
